I like his style of coaching

Said all summer I think he and Norv would have been perfect here. Zim is a true tough, no-nonsense, hard-a coach, unlike Red. Norv is great with QBs and we could have kept the same system. . Both are Jerry guys and Jerry could have gotten his "credit" for hiring Zim as a first-time coach.

Jerry missed his window and there won't be anything that perfect next year.

Garrett was supposedly an Offense Mastermind, which turned out to be pathetic. Then it was claimed he was head-coach material, but not an offensive mastermind. That also turned out to be a fail. Zimmer was decent on defense, at least disciplined, but no pressure. He probably fits the HC material while being an OK DC. Norv would have been OC and a great OC at that with Romo.
