That was Austin during his kickoff return for a TD in the playoffs against Seattle. He does smile after catches though ..

That being said, I'd smile too In fact, I don't know if I would stop even after the games

All I know is that he is open almost everytime I look. On those PI calls last year he was wide open. And he was open this year as well EXCEPT for the touchdown. He used his body to slow down the cb so that only he could catch the ball (excellent technique). THis shows a lot of growth in how to use his body not just speed. The only real knock on him has been his hands and if he is catching the ball now then he is truly coming into his own. That was why everyone was saying he was coming on during training camp because he was catching everything thrown to him. Quick or fast he is a legitimate threat now.

Guess we will know a lot more as the season goes on. This kid has a passion. He is still learning and getting better every game. The Cowboys may have found Glenn's replacement. Time will tell.

Hes got everything.

Agile, fast, big, strong, all the things you could want.

His measurables are sick.

6'3 215 -220ish

This is one of the luxuries of having patience and developing players and not saying "Oh hes the next Randall Williams" because he wasn't a 1st round pick.

I expect Miles to keep growing. He has a very high ceiling and I know he was a big fan of Terry Glenns game.

I believe he ran a 4.47 at the combine and Felix ran a 4.44 or something very close to that, so I'd say they are both more quick than fast. I'd say anything in the 4.4's is definitely NFL speed though. I wouldn't let him getting caught deter you from thinking he's pretty fast though, I don't think he's 100% healthy yet.

As far as the thread, my girlfriend noticed the big grin on his face right before he caught one of his passes, it was pretty funny actually.

That's cool. I did not see the grin on Mile's face during that play. But you can tell that he loves this game. And that is only a plus for the Cowboys.

You could argue that Miles is a lot like Steeler's WR, Hines Ward. Just a straight up passion for his team and the game.

Hes not 100%.

He just had a knee scope not long ago and has had to practice with a brace.

During training camp it seemed like it was a consensus that Miles was the fastest receiver we had. Including Stanback and Owens.
