I don't care about him starting, but he needs to be in limited snaps. Unlike the backs, the platoon of receivers are a strenght of the team and should be used so accordingly. Third and short I want Beas, Dez, Austin on the pitch. 3rd and long I want Williams in there.

Damn straight he should start. If he can suit up and go, you start him!!!

It is not like the offense has missed him. I don't see where he has played well enough to think that he should come back from another hamstring injury and start. If he follows his usual pattern after an injury, he will run his routes at half speed to protect his hamstring. Does this offense need a WR going half speed?

Start, perhaps. Split his time with the younger guys? Absolutely.

Part of developing players is actually getting them on the field. Miles hasn't been so far and away better than the younger guys that his snaps should be guaranteed.

Ya, because Beasley, Harris, and Williams are so proven and will never get injured also. As bad as our d is, we need all the playmakers on offense we can get.

Yeah, Miles has really been a play maker with all the hamstring problems. He is clearly a progress stopper at this point in his career. It is possible that the other WRs will get injured, but it is all but guaranteed that Austin will pull up lame again. It is time for guys like Austin and Ratt to go. They are overpaid injury problems that can't be depended on.

Yes he should start. Williams may be better in a wide open game where moving the ball is easy but in a tight game when every yard counts I trust Miles more at this point to catch the ball and to keep the chains moving

I hope Callahan keeps this attack & try to score every possession approach, it really excites me what this offense can be every week. Continue to spread em out all game & torch the secondary & LB's with all of the mismatches on the field. Fans might believe running the ball wins you ball games, but if you have the air attack that we have, then I'll take that all day.

It's the old adage, you can't lose your spot to injury, but the minute he steps on the field, let the competition begin.... and it won't last long the way the young guys are playing.:p

No unless he is the slot receiver if they start out 3-wide.

Williams has given DCs something to think about after his game against the Broncos. Now the Commanders will have to play the deep ball as well as slide help over to Dez's side. Austin should have an easier time in the slot and he does not have to play too many reps.

watching him play looks like he is not running full speed to protect those hammy's. Plus beasley and harris are beast in the slot. Beasley is super quick and harris is about as quick as miles but breaks tackles and is shifty. Miles needs to be traded.

If he is showing it in practice then I have no issue with him starting or not. I think all the WR will see action but I do think Miles should show it during the week and that is something us fans can't see.

If he plays, Williams better still be the #2, opposite Dez.

I'm sorry, what? You don't remember the game against San Diego, where our offense completely stalled in the second half? Oh, that's right, that was a full two weeks ago. Silly me.

Our offense stalled because receivers were dropping balls like hot potatoes.

I'd move Miles to #3 for a couple weeks. He's good in the slot. If he explodes, he'll get his job back. But at #3, this helps us in 2 ways: Williams will get even more reps and more chances to make mistakes, but if he succeeds, he will firmly become a trusted weapon if we make the playoffs. Next, Miles is injury prone, but explosive when healthy. With a few less reps and less plays now, we have higher odds of Miles being on the field in December when we want all our weapons. Finally, Beasley should still work in the 4 receiver sets and also steal a few of the plays in the slot over Miles in the 3 receiver sets.
