Some of us actually watch the games before we bellyache over the results...
I hope you're right.
I really do.

Me too. It doest seem right to give up on him just bc hes had a couple of nonproductive games. He still nearly put up 1000 yards last year. Im confident he wouldnt be out there much if he were not showing a high level of skill in practice.
I do think its nice to have the young guys coming up big and Miles probably should have a reduced role.. Just like he has now. He will have some big games and make some key plays this year.

I am personally ready to move on from Miles - he is simply not reliable on a number of levels.

Even when healthy he's been less than spectacular for a while. He has like three 100 yard games since the start of 2011. Sucks, I like the guy but you are what you are.

Often injured and not much more than average anymore. The team should move on after this season. His salary increases $5M and he's all but been replaced at this point.

I can't even remember.

At this point, Beasley is more reliable than Austin.

Ask yourself this question, does Beasley drop that pass that Romo threw to Austin today?

It doesn't bother me, either way.

I think it's pretty clear Romo knows Austin is hurt but trying.

We seem to be running alot of 3-4 WR plays in the offense..

..so Austin even at 80% is better than nothing.

I expect he'll get better and they aren't pushing him anyway.

Williams and Beasley are blooming on offense anyway.

Austin is useless. He should be the 4th receiver on the depth chart. Bryant, Williams, and Beasley are all better by far. At this point, I prefer Harris over Austin.

I think Austin is only hurting the team by being on the field. It's like the Cowboys have one less receiving option with him out there. It could be injury related or it could just be mental. Whatever it is, he isn't producing. It is totally possible for him to turn it around later but this is where he is right now.

I agree, Still good to have him for depth right now, and as far as getting more playing time - have him earn it by making plays

I feel bad for Miles. Bad hammies is not something you can really control. Either you're flexible in that area or you aren't. I'm so glad the young fellas have stepped up big time, but I won't be mad at all if Miles returns to form. The more weapons the better. A couple of vintage TDs by Miles and if nothing else we can use him as a high-paid decoy. Anything to help this offense.

For your information, I am extremely happy that we won this game. I'm not trying to be negative by starting this thread. I just noticed that this offense runs smoother when Dez, Williams, Beasley and Harris are on the field.

I am disappointed with Miles, he always has those bad cotton hammies! But, for some odd reason, I think he is going to help this team down the home stretch.

Be ready to move on from Miles after the season. You all should know by now how this league works. Miles will be needed at some point this season.

All good points but you are right, it just feels like we have moved on.

He will be needed this season, and I hope he knows that. But, yeah, I really think this is his last rodeo/

I see no problem with Miles being the number 3-4 WR on our team. But he's been surpassed.
