For those of you who said Dallas doesn't need him, think again. He's by far the best WR on this team.

How about we stop sending them all the way down the field and utilize slants a little more? Those stupid smoke screens/bubble screens are getting old and seem to fail more than they succeed. We thought we were going to have an excellent screen game with the DeMarco/Jones combo and we barely seem to use it. We've started using the toss quite a bit but where the heck are the screens? I can't count the number of times Romo has been running for his life and I've thought a little dump off here and it's near day light for Jones or Murray, sad.

Don't think so, but we've used it a lot previously. My problem is we're doing nothing to address the actual problems.Eskimo;4289068 said:I'm confused here.
Did we even run a single smoke the whole game? The Cards were pressing us too much for that to have worked.
AZ had no fear of either beating them deep. We need some speed back on the field. Austin coming back will help some.tupperware;4289008 said:Yeah we need him but funny to think we have 3 pretty capable WR and it never feels like it. And given Austin's injury-prone history, that's probably something they need to consider next year.
We couldn't consistently move the ball against one of the league's worst D's. That should be very troubling to every fan even if Bailey had made the kick.

If Dez and Robinson are playing well then Miles is a bum because he's injured.
If Murray is playing well than Felix is a bum because he's injured.
Miles averages about 97 yards per game when Romo and him both start. I think Dez has all of one game with more yards than that. I think Robinson has two in his five year career.
Miles is a very gifted receiver. It did take him awhile to break out but he played college ball at Monmouth so he had a massive learning curve and was a UDFA.
I have high hopes for this offense when Miles is back. It should make the type of coverage Arizona used today impossible. It would put DBs into too many situations where they have to cover and tackle Miles 1-on-1.
