Kiley: How surprised are you about the output

Austin: Im a little surprised becasue I havent had that type of success on this level. I put a lot of hard work into it. We are doing it in practices, so it is carrying over to games.

Mike: Surprised about opportunities?

Miles: Yes, im surprised about the opportunities I am getting

Kiley: I know you want to direct towards the team but your play is big and will be even bigger nationally if you contine to play well. You went to monmouth college and is that the name now.

Miles: It is a university now

Kiley: Were you like this in college?

Miles: My senior I had some big games. Its just good to have guys like Romo and the offensive line

Kiley: are you better now?

Miles: I got better and I felt like I better every year in college. I felt I was progressing in the pros and but I still need to improve

Irvin: This game is shoulders up, not shoulders down. I saw a young man growing into a man child yesterday. Tell us about your confidence.

Miles: I feel confident and always have been. I feel like it is good execution and everyone is doing their job like coach tells us. I try to do my job and try to be good at my job. I might get all the credit for the TD but the team is doing their job

Irvin: You got them going yesterday, the first quarter very slow and when you got that touchdown, it seemed to change the team. Is there pressure on you to be a leader?

Miles: I don't feel like i need to score a big td but I want too. I just try to make a play. The defense is playing good and we are excecuting.

Kiley: Everyone wanted to see Miles Austin. I got 11 minutes in the 2nd quarter and thought where is Miles Austin. They tried to get to Roy Williams and it wasn't working. Were you being doubled?

Miles: I wasn't being doubled teamed.

Kiley: What was the game plan?

Miles: Throw the ball and try to mix it up. Running and throwing and Play Action but we didn't connect.

Irvin: You played the Z receiver. There was alot of people in the press that said you couldn't play at the Z position and what do you think?

Miles: I havent hurd that. I think there is a differnce, sometimes we have mirrored routes but the x can run the z and the z can run x routes. I believe all the recievers can run all the routes.

Irvin: Miles is an x receiver because the z receiver has to go inside. But I have seen you go across the middle.

Miles: I have no problem going across the middle

Ed Werder, KISS MY ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That quote should've been stated directly to him.

I love how this kid just keeps talking about the team and deflects praise to all his teammates.

I loved Skip Bayles' quote the best: "This team is MILES better without Team Obliorator (aka T.O.)" :D

I noticed that too. All of the players seem to be doing that this year and I LOVE IT!!! :starspin

Dilfer was just raving about the routs this guy runs. I love listening to Dilfer by the way.

I hope JG is planning what to do when teams begin to double MA, .. and we know they will.

Should help the running game and Witten.

Does anyone else feel that MB could bring as much or more to the party as RW does?

This team seems to have a different mentality than last year's. I think Jerry taking out the trash really helped.

Miles reflects all the praise off himself, gotta love it.

I do love it. Right after the past game he was asked how it felt being the hero again and said man I'm no hero I'm just trying to help this team and do what they ask me to do. The Man is a breath of fresh air

Thanks for the recap. Miles is alright with me. I can't wait until we are hitting on all cylinders, i.e. RW and JW getting more involved. We have the potential of being completely unstoppable!

He's really, really stepped up that part of his game.

If he can just improve his hands a little bit, we have a game-changer on our hands.

MB? Martellus Bennett?

Welll, I have to admit, it's not as colorful as "I Love ME some ME! BELIEVE IT!!!" (spit flying everywhere).
