That was great. I think I will cut up the clip and throw it on Youtube as 'Miles give Werder the Finger'.

Send it out to other sites too like Pro Football Talk. And ********. Let's hope Yakuza gets it to his people that work for ESPN affiliates who hate Werder because I am sure they will get a kick out of it.

And then ESPN and NFL Network will get a hold of it because it's Cowboys related and we know they love anything to do with them.

Then it will look like Miles hates Werder. And that he's causing a distraction as we head down the stretch. You know, the Cowboys vs the Media distraction. That thing that this team has been missing all season.

Some will even say it's because Miles must have been close to Terrell Owens so he was giving a shout out to him by doing it to Werder.

But then some might think then that he's not all in on Tony Romo because he's still sticking up for Terrell Owens and that's the guy who dissed Tony on Twitter.

Then Miles will have to answer questions about it. And probably Tony too.

Miles will just say it was unintentional, but like most of you guys said it was clearly intentional so then he will be known as a liar. Tony will just say he's a great teammates and a hard worker. Wade will say he didn't see it so he doesn't know about it. Jerry will hold a presser with some professional finger gesture folks that he's paying a boat load to say it was unintentional.

Darn it. I don't think Miles being labeled a liar is good for him. That's what they are going to say when he denies it on Monday.

And I hope Tony Romo, Jason Garrett, Wade Phillips and Jerry Jones don't start thinking Miles is kinda immature for doing that. But you have to admit it was kind of immature on his part and in a way selfish because he should know that the last thing this team needs is for some petty crap like that to be a distraction because everything is going so well.

It's going to be bad enough battling the next five opponents. This team doesn't need to be battling the media again like they did last season. So far this year the media and the Cowboys have gotten along pretty well.

Why did you do that Miles? Should have just left it alone bro.

Werder is a jerk, but you should be focused on other things right now besides calling him out with the middle finger and sticking up for T.O. and creating a distraction after such a big win over the Raiders.

Is Miles Austin the next Terrell Owens? Sure seems like it. And I mean the whole package. Sure he puts up big numbers, but now he's also a guy who has to draw unneeded attention to himself by doing crap like that.

Let me check out that clip one more time.

Because if it was just him scratching his face with his index finger and completely unintenionally giving the bird and Cowboys fans just wishing so hard that he had given Ed Werder the bird because they now hate him more than they actually hate other rival teams that actually play football against the Cowboys then it would be a shame to even speculate and start up some BS where we know it's not real but we all know the media will run with because they know it's headline stuff as long as it has the words 'Dallas Cowboys' are somehow involved.

And we know where that road ends. The Cowboys fan base gets all pissy about the media blowing stuff out of proportion and then they can blame any future losses on them.

Be back in a second. I gotta check that thing one more time.

Ok. Checked it out again.

This time I had my eyes open.

And thank god I did becase it's nothing to do about nothing.

Miles didn't give anyone the finger. He's not another Terrell Owens. The Cowboys won't have to answer any questions about this next week.

But then again, that's just my opinion.

For all we know someone up in Bristol could right now be working on this story right on the OP premise that Miles did indeed give Werder the finger.

At least the Giants lost.

Round and round...

I'm curious about this Austin character. He does some interesting things off of the field, and his wardrobe is equally baffling. White tee and what looks like a trucker hat. Saw another picture of him sporting some vintage flannel at a party.

Interesting.

Tomson, this is your funniest post ever. LOL.

And that was definitely intentional, the extra effort it takes to not only use the middle finger, but make sure all the others are down makes it obvious to me.

Ever heard of Freedom of the Press? We deny any reporter access, there could be sanctions and lawsuits.

Wow you do Overreact much? Seriously, when did Miles even give an impression of being TO? Maybe you ought to count to 10 and do the clip watching before you post? If you had just said Miles was immature for doing that, if he meant it, would have been understandable.

But labeling him another TO because he might have been bit immature?

Anyway good thing you retracted after watching tape again.:p:

The index finger is the index finger for a reason. Its the one you lead with... pick your nose, push a button, point at something(someone), etc... etc... etcETERA!!!

:laugh1:

And the middle finger is the one used with a bow. That's where it originated BTW. At least that's the rumor.

There you go, making up stuff and not reading what I wrote. Blind loyalists tend to do that.

I guess I find it funny you could think it's preposterous that other professional sports journalists don't think highly of your idol's work. Y'know, when Albom was exposed for blatantly making up a story, which didn't get him fired from showing up on ESPN's Sports Reporters show, I had two sports writers from the Midwest who doubted some of his stories before the scandal broke.

No, Miles didn't intentionally give Mr. Blue Suit the finger and if he did I'm sure you would burn Miles Austin jersey's in effigy and blame Jerry and Wade for it. But the fact is that Mr Blue Suit is a very inaccurate reporter who apparently has very inaccurate sources regardless of who he talks to and other reporters that do work for ESPN have noticed and think it's an indictment of his work.
