Miles Austin's first NFL start was 14 years ago today

Austin’s play really ignited that 2009 team. It helped lead the Cowboys to their first playoff win in 13 years. The Cowboys had moved on from TO the previous season, and Roy Williams wasn’t panning out. Austin gave us a real spark. Our current team needs a real spark.

That's one game I definitely remember and a lot of them aren't that memorable so they get discarded. It's like "where were you when miles austin broke out?". That was a fun game.

It was awful attempted tackling. He really didn’t do much here or ever.

I was at that game, lower deck about the 40 row, 35 yard line. It was interesting, watching the two teams in their original uniforms and I had some fun ribbing the Kansas City fans for the fact that their team had the outline of Texas on their helmets.
That was a pleasant exit from the stadium and drive home.
