Miles Austin's 9.0 yards after catch average is nearly twice as high as any other receiver in the NFL.

He's also tied for the NFL lead with 15 catches of 20 yards or more and leads the league with six touchdown catches of 20 yards or more.

Replace that production, T.O. whiners.

I don't know why you feel the need to call out the TO advocates. However, I will say TO is a HoF WR. So let's see Miles Austin produce that. Also 5 games left against 5 tough opponents hopefully Miles Austin doesn't disappear like has against a quality team this year.

I call it the fed up factor. People are simply fed up with his support.

Not surprising. Our #2 receiver can't beat double coverage with a safety over the top because no-one else other than Witten commands respect from our offense.

I understand where DaBoys4Life is coming from. The only people still talking about/bringing up TO are the TO haters. I wish this board would just let him RIP in Buffalo.

The problem with this, is that it isn't true.

True and I am not sure how someone could make the statement he made with a straight face.

However, there is no reason to lash out at Terrell Owens as he is irrelevant.

Honestly, countering an argument that Miles Austin has replaced Terrell Owen's production by saying, "Yeah but TO is a Hall of Famer" is just idiotic.

Are you referring to Miles Austin or Roy Williams as the #2 receiver?

Regardless, there are a ton of good receivers in this league to have trouble beating double teams because...well..they're being double teamed.

When this happens, the onus is with the Offensive Coordinator to devise schemes that help the receiver beat the double team.

The Raiders are awful, but Miles just had a great game against everybody's boy Assumwah, so he deserves some credit (and the benefit of the doubt at this point).

Because I don't see it, and I'm on here everyday.

But but but Terrell Owens is a Hall of Famer and Miles Austin isn't :banghead: .

There are 3 camps, TO Haters, TO Lovers and people who just flat out don't care.

The TO Lovers are just as guilty as the TO Haters when it comes to bringing his name up after every game.

What you should notice is that when the Cowboys win and one of the receivers has a big day, the TO Haters are more prominent.

When the Cowboys lose, then you will see that the TO Lovers are more prominent.

Obviously, we have only lost 3 games even though some of the wins were ugly, so it is more likely that the TO Haters have been more prominent.

Fair enough. I must be in the don't care crowd then. I supported him while he was here without shame. But once he left, just like any other ex-Cowboy, I stopped caring. It just seems like I see more "LOLZ @ TO" and "Suck it TO lovers" post than vice versa when there is no need for his name to come up at all, as he is a non-factor.

Garrett showed me something today by scheming a lot of crossing routes for Miles against a team that he pretty much plays 100% man-to-man on the WRs. Nhamdi is excellent but there's noone who can defend Miles with the entire field in play.

As teams continue to play us in zone and doubling the outside, we have to find a way to keep Miles involved.

I guess you don't go over the the NFL Zone very often then.

This must be the reason. I don't visit that forum much.

Except it seemed to me as if every one was picking on the other corner... Johnson I think.

This suits me fine...then we don't have to live with we can beat Champ Bailey/ Woodson by forcing the ball constantly...

After everything some TO supporters said in this forum about the impending doom of this team after his release, it is not only our right to rub it in their faces, it is our duty.

They were arrogant, they were obnoxious, and they were wrong.
