Miles Garrett: Parsons should get every penny he's owed

He has said that he plans to show up
I think that was the mandatory they just concluded........if I remember correctly, he didn't commit to training camp. I'll see if I can find the quote.......

Ok here it is .........wordings

His key words.....it's in the owner's hands whether or not he will be there for training camp

"Yeah, I'll still be in Oxnard," Parsons said. "Already got my house, I already got my house, it's already said and done, so I'll be in Oxnard. Me, my kids, my family, so we'll be there."

But will Micah be on the grass practicing?

"Yeah, I'll be out there," he added.

Hate to break it to everyone, but he is signing a record deal when Jerry decides he is ready to write the check….something he isn’t doing until he can get some attention out of it. Now isn’t that time.

It’s that’s simple.
I'm ok with that. 99% would do the same thing, if they had the leverage. At any job.

He said both, the comments about minicamp and the comments about training camp. The quotes I used points out that he is talking about Oxnard, where camp is held not the minicamp, and that he says he'll be out on the field.

Here's another: https://www.si.com/nfl/cowboys/news...las-cowboys-training-camp-amid-contract-drama

The only thing he hasn't committed to is practicing without a new contract. Frankly, I think he might do what he did at minicamp: take part in some of the drills, but avoid the contact drills. Of course, players can get hurt in non-contact drills.

There’s almost no chance it doesnt go that way. I’m have no problem with Micah in the equation. The team had four years of him on a rookie deal to take advantage of.

Now, the lack of a deal may or may not be a distraction to football but I don’t believe that’s a consideration of the powers that be. Actually it shouldn’t be a headline at all considering he is under contract and is subject to two tags, but the Cowboys are click magnets I guess.

It’s just a tired act already, We already know they’ve been saving their cap pennies for years to sign him. At least he is actually elite.
