Broke down the 2 RB's we just signed. Keep it simple, would you rather have these 2 backs at 4M to make sure you are prepared for the draft, or put all your eggs into one basket with injury prone Rico Dowdle on his first 1K season at 6M.

Panthers and Cowboys swap RB's - but you'll see from the film I'm more so interested in J.Williams as I feel like he has been in the dog house for quite some time after his ACL tear in DEN. New coaching staff has him out the door, but I believe he will be someone early in the year who gets double digit touches.

I’m actually more interested in seeing what Sanders has to offer.
Sanders was barely used after he got paid in Carolina. Went over this in the video as well, he had 1350 yards from scrimmage and goes to his new team and it drops to 586.

11 TD's in PHI to 1 in CAR - for the guy sitting behind Saquon Barkley that had a lot of success and voted 4th for AP OROY it is extremely suspect. We definetly got 2 very different backs, but Williams replaces Zeke in short yardage which is an upgrade and I think Sanders and Dowdle's running style is extremely similar - similar enough to warrant a $5M discount and let Rico walk

Sanders is the perfect buyer beware candidate…

Yes, he had his best season in Philadelphia… So did Saquon Barkley. So did D’Andre Swift. It’s not an uncommon theme.

The Cowboys and Panthers literally switched RBs. This will be very interesting. Which front office talent evaluators are best?

I'd rather have the back who broke 1,000 yards and averaged 4.6 yards per carry last year over two who averaged under 4 yards per carry, and I wasn't even a fan of re-signing Dowdle.

Dowdle paired with a pick within the first three rounds would have been fine to me.

Frankly, if I was going to sign a back trying to come back from injury, I would have gone for Nick Chubb.

We may never know. Dowdle is going to be sharing snaps with Chuba Hubbard in Carolina. Sanders, if he makes the team, will be sharing snaps with either Javonte Williams or (hopefully) a draft pick.

Swift actually had a fairly similar year in Chicago but big difference in ypc behind that line. I think Swift is a solid back behind a decent line.

As far as Dallas and Carolina I dont think it's that interesting because I expect Sanders is trash at either stop. I actually think Javonte has a better chance at delivering. Chuba had no problems running the ball in Carolina but no one really excelled in Denver.

Just start the damn video already would you uhhh!!!

did you make the actual video or something?? It's more a testament to all videos highlight creators etc, they do so much talk and stuff! We don't have patience anymore like we used to lol
this is me making the video - I am TDLabz, small Cowboys content creator but I'll get bigger. Credibility is slowly going up as I was just on Daniel Jeremiah's 2025 NFL Draft Call. Hoping you guys like the content, this is what I do it for.

I'll get better at getting right to the point next one.

My apologies, once i'm at home i'll actually sit and watch it, wishing you nothing but success!!!!

"Dallas just signed a potential starting running back for $1 million,'' Fish says. "It's such a deal that even if he's third-string - heck, even if he's cut! - it might rank as the No. 1 bargain in all of free agency. ...

"Because it's all upside and no risk - the very definition of a bargain.''

Now to the numbers ...

The former Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Panthers running back agreed to terms with Dallas on a one-year, $1.337 million contract. Here is the breakdown:

$1.17 million base ($1.03 million guaranteed) salary.

$167,500 signing bonus.

For roughly the same money, I'm taking one quality back over 2 mediocre ones.

Dowdle plus a 2nd-3rd round back would be a nice combo.

Currently, with no quality running back, Dallas will be forced to take one very high in the draft, and everyone knows it.

Too bad Dallas completely neglected the position in the last 2 drafts.

Rico signed for 1 year 3m.
I always do my research before putting out a video on YouTube, Rico Dowdle:

Rico Dowdle signed a 1 year, $6,250,000 contract with the Carolina Panthers, including an average annual salary of $6,250,000.

I wouldn't go out of my way and put out a video like that, I have all my notes in front of me while having 2 monitors up and recording so please trust me the information in these are accurate.

I like the difference of opinion, however I still don't think this stops us from taking a RB high. Miles + Williams IMO gives us what we had with Rico last year plus a better back in the RZ area.

If we have to rely on a pass heavy offense, we're not winning a lot of games. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember him being injured often in Philly.

Dowdle's deal is $3M, but has incentives that make it possible to reach the $6.25M
