There isn't a clear-cut need in Dallas right now. Maybe a WR2 makes sense, or maybe some more depth at cornerback, though this team looks pretty complete at the moment. But the potential to add another pass-rusher fits with how the Cowboys like to build their roster. Tuimoloau wasn't overly productive at Ohio State -- 10 sacks over three years -- but he plays his best in big games, including four career sacks against Penn State last season. He's a heavy-handed defensive end who also shows up against the run.

29. Philadelphia Eagles - Kamari Lassiter CB Georgia
30. Miami Dolphins - Kingsley Suamataia T BYU
31. Baltimore Ravens - Chris Braswell EDGE Alabama
32. San Francisco 49ers - Taliese Fuaga T Oregon St.

So three sacks a year in a good conference? Looks a couple rounds too high. Hate it.

If 13 of the first 27 picks before ours are QBs, WRs and Bowers, we should do much better than Tuimoloau. I'd hate that pick.

We have clear needs at

RB
WR 3
OT
DT
LB

And although it’s not likely a better center would be nice.

If the draft went down like this I am taking Fuaga. In fact I am running to the podium to hand the card in. No questions ask.

This actually needs to be an all-D draft .........

I would agree. If that is the case then this team needs to address the offense with free agency. The OL continues to struggle and really need a good / quality WR2 Brandin Cooks is a WR3... then what is the answer @ RB?

Tee Higgins for WR 2 and find a RB in UDFA or someone’s camp cuts.

I don’t care if the model was from the 2000 season, but I still look at the 2000 Ravens as the default model for a modern defense - 2 huge DT’s that push all running plays to the outside surrounded by 9 fast but PHYSICAL skill guys. That D could match up with today’s spread offenses because of the skills of the back 7 guys. Lewis and Sharper were GREAT 3-Down LB’s that could match up with RB’s, TE’s, and even some WR’s. Boulware was really good against the run and an excellent pass rusher. And, their DB’s excelled at man or zone. So, while Mazi has a LOT of work to do, pairing him with ANOTHER athletic big body could be beneficial going forward. Now, if they can find 2-3 skilled LB’s to pair with Overshown…
