Miller mock 12/12/23

Steele doesn't suck. Tyron isn't always hurt.
Steele is bottom 5 of all OTs in football…he’s arguably the weakest link on offense. IMO upgrading RT is one of the top priorities in the offseason.

Tyron is still elite when he’s on the field but his availability is a problem. If we’re in win now mode we need to sign a FA OT and draft one early.

lmao Steele does suck probably one of the worst tackles in the NFL. What games are you watching? Just because we gave him the huge contract doesn't mean he is good. That just means Jerry rolled the dice and got burned. And Tyron is hurt every year. He missed a big game vs the Dolphins. His bad back isn't going to magically get better as he age.

He might be the weakest link but he doesn't suck. He started off bad but has continued to get better as the season has gone along. As he gets more time away from his injury he will get even better. Next summer he should easily be back to pre-injury form.

The Cowboys games. What games are you watching? See my above post for explanation.

If he is good or not has nothing to do with his contract. Why did that even get brought up?

He gave up 9 pressures before the Eagles game. After the Eagles he has given up 16. He has definitely not gotten better

105 said he gave up 8 pressures alone against Miami he’s playing terrible considering his $$. He also let Reddick wreck the game in Philly. Maybe it’s the injury I’m not sure but by no means is he anywhere near as good as he was last year

Steele sucks,no way around it.that contract is a big L for Jerry.

He should NEVER HAVE BEEN GIVEN AN EXTENSION while he was injured. That’s just dumb.

He’s been getting roasted all year…below average for a team that can’t afford that to make a playoff run.

We already have our LT in Asim Richards. Move Bass to C. Sign Tee Higgins in FA. Now draft all D.
That's a terrible plan.

Tee Higgins is just gourmet Michael Gallup, he doesn't change any function of the offense, and is going to cost over $20m.

Higgins doesn't change the offense but you're exaggerating a bit calling him gourmet gallup. He's a low tier 1

He's just the same skillset, is all I mean. He's a better WR, but at his core he's still just a contested catch player. He's not a route-runner or out there getting consistent separation.

Avg. separation 2023:
Gallup: 2.4
Higgins: 2.4

2022:
Gallup: 2.4
Higgins: 2.5

2021:
Gallup: 2.4
Higgins: 2.3

I mean.....dez was a contested catch player. I think you rely too much on analytics. Same skillset but tee is top 20. Gallup is top 70-80. Don't think that's gourmet.
