That's a nice change, having a guy out there who has the ability to move the team even when it all looks hopeless.
That's where true leadership begins.

After one pass to a guy whose 3rd best wide-out at bestSure starting to look like a Quarterback controversy is starting to form
Been a lot of chatter on it since yesterday
My take. Denver didn't think Dallas would be so aggressive at that point. They called in the dogs and Dallas went deep. Nothing here-guys.The entire NFL knows it doesn’t take 60 MIL to have an exceptional QB but for some reason several here are infatuated/in love with this guy while simultaneously bashing Romo, Aikman, et al from the past, or any possible future competition for their boyfriend. It gets tiresome and I’m not afraid to say it - it’s silly and so is JJ for mortgaging the future with his contract. That's a nice change, having a guy out there who has the ability to move the team even when it all looks hopeless.

ok lets reverse the Dak contract (again i was in favor of him leaving).. tell me what Jerry would do diferent to make this team a winner? Thats the thing you can blame Dak and his contract(which is also a GM thing) but this franchise has been off the rails for a long time before Dak..Romo era was the same before Dak and Romo it was actually worse..Jerry is the problem now 11 years ago and 20 years and 30 years ago...The entire NFL knows it doesn’t take 60 MIL to have an exceptional QB but for some reason several here are infatuated/in love with this guy while simultaneously bashing Romo, et al, or any other possible competition for their boyfriend. But - we’re stuck with it. I’ll be long gone before this team ever sees another SB.

Agreed. It still was a great pass. When denver basically did not care for this game anymore.
but i do wish he becomes a good QB for us one day.
Right and that’s exactly the problem I was trying to illuminate via the 60 MIL example.Jerry is the problem now 11 years ago and 20 years and 30 years ago...
He's as good as he gets good plays then really really bad onesThat's a nice change, having a guy out there who has the ability to move the team even when it all looks hopeless.

That sounds like someone else we all know, too, who gets paid heaps. He's as good as he gets good plays then really really bad ones
That's why we're better off keeping guys like Grier hereThat sounds like someone else we all know, too, who gets paid heaps.
Milt needs experience which he’ll never ever get here.
Getting rid of Dak would have made the Cowboys better.ok lets reverse the Dak contract (again i was in favor of him leaving).. tell me what Jerry would do diferent to make this team a winner? Dak wouldn't allow that to happen..lolThat dime pass to Tolbert in the end zone was beautiful. I am not saying that Milton’s good, but he clearly has potential. I wish they would have allowed him to keep throwing and let him run a no huddle offense.
Then why were they not better before Dak? they have been the same team since 1996 because thats when the shift of power started...Lee fan how you want but just know this GM is bad and has been for 30 years. There is no denying that.Getting rid of Dak would have made the Cowboys better.
They might not say it openly, but I believe that the rest of the Cowboys knew when Dak got extended their fates were sealed as far as achieving greatness.
I believe that they know that he will always play like he did yesterday when he faces a real contender.
Just getting rid of Dak, rather than making him the highest paid player in NFL history, would have helped.
