Milton reasons why the trade to the Cowboys was a blessing

For somebody that is supposed to be an intelligent quarterback he sure looks confused a lot of the time. And he also seems to wilt under the pressure mentally.
That’s just a ridiculous opinion, the people that themselves don’t understand what’s happening on the field I agree sometimes his mechanic and body fails but it’s not his mental ability. That’s 100%.

Curious, do you watch the games hoping he fails so you can say I told everybody. Or do you want him to succeed and he just doesn’t good enough for you? Because his numbers are definitely top five.

Oh boy......here we go (LOL)
I appreciate player honesty and being themselves. I personally don't have a problem with this but understand how/why many fans will process it differently but I'm pretty sure, like most players, Milton doesn't care.

Ok.

Lets see how he handles next contract negotiations. The we will see what he was able to learn from our QB. Btw: From whom i heard also that his wife is in the best shape of her life.

Well, maybe she has some inside information. Lol.

They were? I didn't watch the game, but I know he had a low yardage number, I think it was 241 passing w/ 1 TD. And his rushing was like 10 for 17 w/ 1 TD.

What was incredible about his throws? Asking honestly, as I did not watch that game.
You do know that starters in the NFL carry statistics just like those, time to time. Sometimes worse.

I just hope that Milton gets a fair shot at the job at some point.

The team has some measure of an ‘out’ with the historically awful Dak Prescott contract in 2027.

Hopefully, Milton is coached up and developed by then to be a viable, long-term replacement.

He can’t think that because his agent knows due to Daks salary he won’t ever play unless injury happens.
The likelihood is that Prescott will miss some time....injuries have already started to take a toll and he is getting older....chances are that Milton will get some opportunities at the very least to build his stock.

As a backup, that is a great situation for a player to be in. He will get time to develop AND have a good offensive cast around him.

I get it, he’s from Florida, went to Michigan for college, didn’t like the weather transferred to Tennessee yet was drafted by the Patriots. I’m sure he’s not going to dog it in cold weather. Also what is he supposed to say I’m going to come in and take over Dak’s spot? I think that’s a smart answer, being buddy with Dak is better then Dak seeing him as a threat.

If that happens then yes. I just saw this team play Cooper Rush the majority of the season over Lance….so do I see a scenario where they start Will Grier or go search for another back up….possibly. But for his sake it would be in his best interest to play a game or two and dominate and increase his value.

With as much money as they gave Dak he can’t see him as a threat but I agree he said the right thing

I like Milton but people overhype the hell out of that Bills h game….my goodness.

Agree........Dak contracts become tradable before the 2027 season. This is why IMO he has a 2-year window ( 2025 and 2026 ) to avoid competition for his job. He needs two things to happen
*** Stay healthy
*** Deep postseason run
