Milton reasons why the trade to the Cowboys was a blessing

Also, this one got called back but how many NFL QBs are even capable of making this play?

Nice throws, but sorry, I didn't see anything amazing. He's got great arm strength, which we already knew. Those look like regular NFL throws to me. What would you say was amazing about them?

You’re putting words in my mouth. All I said was he has a strong arm, can run, and could be a viable backup to Dak. If he replaces Dak than that's great!

That’s it. I never called him a star or a Pro Bowler—you’re the ones overreacting and taking it further than what I actually said.
Then I agree w/ you!!!!

Agree........Dak contracts become tradable before the 2027 season. This is why IMO he has a 2-year window ( 2025 and 2026 ) to avoid competition for his job. He needs two things to happen
*** Stay healthy
*** Deep postseason run
In my opinion, no other team would trade for “Jones’s Folly”.

Certainly not if the Cowboys are looking for the door.

I’m curious as to why you feel that Dak would have trade value at that point?

Curious, do you watch the games hoping he fails so you can say I told everybody. Or do you want him to succeed and he just doesn’t good enough for you? Because his numbers are definitely top five.
Of course surface stats fool the inexperienced.
50 points against the Commanders and Giants is a helluva performance but when he cant lead the team to more than 3 FGs while the defense is fighting their guts out shows his true ability. Chiefs 19 Cowboys 9. And there are many more games where Dak does nothing for 3 quarters and they are down by 20-30 points and the other team takes their foot off his throat and he suddenly comes to life against 2nd stringers and prevent defense and leads the team to 21 points. I watch these games with disgust that he is fooling so many people. But he isn't fooling all of us. Dak is a stat mongrel!
I heard one of these NFL players on TV say stats are for losers. I think it was Brady.

Before the start of 2027 season, he will have only $62M guaranteed money left on his contract over the next 2 years ( 2027 and 2028 ). Providing he's still playing at a high level and voided injuries, $31M per year should attract at least a couple of teams.

Stats are for your career, they’re not for anything else other than Vegas. I understand that. My Prescott is nowhere near as bad as you’d like to claim he is. This will really be a good season. I think Mike really kept him down.

You're too old and fragile to handle cold weather we get it Rocky, plus you wouldn't be able to wear your ''I love Dak'' thong at the beach year round up here which is a deal-breaker for you.
There is a reason people vacation in Cancuun. The cold sucks. Playing football in the cold sucks. playing football in an air conditioned/heated building doesnt suck.

Im thinking about 99% of the players if asked if they'd rather play a playoff game inside a dome or out in 5 degree, 25 mph winds in thw snow..... they would chose the dome.

Now you would say they are soft. Id say the ones liking the cold are stupid.

The owner sets the culture in Big D and he is not interested in winning anything big. This mentality has trickled down to the locker room and front office for 3 decades now. Undrafted and late round picks for QB. Leftovers. Meaningless trades for projects at QB nowadays.

Those other teams were trying to hit on something big. They had to go through the QB carousel and different general managers but they were at least in pursuit of excellence.

No such thing in Dallas. Jerry is only interested in running it back his way which has failed him time and time again. And he knows he has sucker low brow fans which will eat it up every year so he has no impetus to change.
You write a nice narrative that fits YOUR view of reality.

His reasons mostly had to do with being comfortable. And why should being "America's team" matter (which these days means being clowned by everyone)? I'd rather he had a reason that had something to do with a desire to compete and win not being comfy in a dome.
Playing for America's team means playing on the team everyone watches. Why do players talk about playing on Sunday or Monday Night Football? Because they know everyone is watching. Would you rather player with millions watching or hundreds? Thats what he meant. Playing for this team is different than playing for others.

It just cracks me up how people sitting in the COMFORT of thei rhome behind a keyboard think they have all the answers on what players should do, think, and how they should act.

Nobody in here would give one damn about Micha's big mouth if we were winning Superbowls.

I really don't think players look at it that way. Or anyone for that matter. America's Team these days means constant ridicule on a national and even at times international level, and basically being a synonym for ineptitude and incompetence. That's the reality of what Jerry has done to this once great franchise.

I see salaries of $45 million and $55 million for those years.
