Milton reasons why the trade to the Cowboys was a blessing

In bizarro world the last 30 years have been the crowing achievement of Jerrys career.
Ill repeat to you the same thing I say to the haters that try to mock me since we havent won a SB title in 30 years.

Jerry hasnt won a title in like 735 years, yet almost all owners are still behind him in lombardi trophies in the case. Why is that so?

I guess their owners are MORE incompetent?

People VACATION in Cancun. Some players for WORK factor in winning at least SOMEWHERE in the equation. But you are right the Cowboys is the Cancun of work environments in more ways than one.
really.... so do the Pats have a mad dash of players wanting to play there?

He is far from the worst owner in the NFL. But he is by far the most incompetent GM in NFL history.

You should come live up here some winter. You’ll be begging for warmer weather too. That doesn’t mean he can’t play in. It just means he doesn’t prefer it. you can twist it anyway you like ,that’s what this is about. Posting here.
I grew up in New York and when it snowed me and the neighborhood kids would play tackle football on the concrete. I know some cold.

Milton can not prefer the cold, but he shouldn't say it. You're giving away an edge. Ever hear Aaron Rodgers badmouth the cold in Green Bay? If that's in your psyche to start you think others won't make a big deal out of it to try to amplify it should he have to play in it at some point? How people achieve and perform is linked to what and how they think about what they're doing. If you go into a game thinking, "man it's going to be cold" that's one more thought away from the task at hand. And now others know you might be thinking that way too? This isn't spin, this is science. What are the positives to saying that out loud?

Exactly. He will fit right in until he's cut in a year or 2.
People who post things about the level of a players mentality & maturity at 25 years old should take a quick look in the mirror! Who among us had it all figured out at 25, not many I can guarantee you that! So what if a guy is honest about playing indoors for his home games vs. being in New England? Who wouldn't want to play in Dallas where all of the amenities are top shelf and he's also going to get first hand knowledge from a 9 year veteran, 3 time all-pro at his position! I believe Milton has the opportunity to turn all of his haters into singing his praises "IF" Dak were to miss anytime this season! He's immensely talented and he's cheap for another 3 years!

Milton is truly blessed. He can learn a lot behind a true Dallas Vet. Things like how to give a blank 1000 yard stare at the big screen when your team is down by more than 7 points. How to treat a mansion like a Lego set. How to make wealth draining decisions now and think about a long term commitment down the road.

How to run with flippers on. How to become the highest paid player ever while soiling your pants at any hint of pressure come playoff time. How to read the field in junk time. How to go three and out in key moments before half time and in the 4th quarter. How to launch the ball like a trebuchet and hope for the best.

Show me one of those guys with a 30 year record of incompetence, mediocrity, and underachievement. You can't. Game, set, match.

Damn Diamond, I would hate to be around you too much with all the negativity! Yep, Dak hasn't led us to the promised land but neither did Tony or anyone before them who wasn't named Troy or Roger! Dak, while not a Super Bowl winner still has a lot to teach young Milton!

I'm just saying it would be nice if he listed at least one thing that wasn't about how "comfy" Dallas is.

The real reason is he thinks it's a decent chance to take over.
With the non contact injuries we've seen there is a decent chance to get steady playing time.

It won't be in blowout wins or losses though because we have a 9 year history of #4 staying in to the final snap regardless of the score

The odds are that an injury will happen over the next 3 years. I don't see Dak playing 60 straight games.
I was thinking within the first 3 games....

Those various non contact Injuries aren't imaginary.
