I bet you was one of the ones mad at Romo for wearing his hat backwardsHe sounds like his priorities are about being comfortable. I realize he has to play nice in the press but anyone who thinks Dak has something worthwhile to teach - other than how to extract the most money possible out of a team - needs his head examined.
In some primitive cultures, his hat was on frontwards.....I bet you was one of the ones mad at Romo for wearing his hat backwards
InterestingIn some primitive cultures, his hat was on frontwards.....
I'd suggest re-watching "Animal House", specifically the scene where Otis Day and the Knights play at Dexter's Bar to get the full appreciationInteresting
Just Dan Quinn on that count bud. And more embarrassed than mad.I bet you was one of the ones mad at Romo for wearing his hat backwards
Very true and Aikman stated it! The difference is that we now have blog sites where we can pick apart any and everything, and I include myself in that as well!Neither did Aikman.
Oh boy......here we go (LOL)
I appreciate player honesty and being themselves. I personally don't have a problem with this but understand how/why many fans will process it differently but I'm pretty sure, like most players, Milton doesn't care.
maybe so but troy never announced it to media people.Neither did Aikman.
I love it Friday night outside the bar in the middle of Elmwood Avenue, which is very busy playing football. North end of Rhode Island. Little Italy. We have a lot in common actually.I grew up in New York and when it snowed me and the neighborhood kids would play tackle football on the concrete. I know some cold.
Milton can not prefer the cold, but he shouldn't say it. You're giving away an edge. Ever hear Aaron Rodgers badmouth the cold in Green Bay? If that's in your psyche to start you think others won't make a big deal out of it to try to amplify it should he have to play in it at some point? How people achieve and perform is linked to what and how they think about what they're doing. If you go into a game thinking, "man it's going to be cold" that's one more thought away from the task at hand. And now others know you might be thinking that way too? This isn't spin, this is science. What are the positives to saying that out loud?
Who really cares, it’s not a point that really makes a difference. The guy made a statement and you look deeper into it than what he probably meant.I grew up in New York and when it snowed me and the neighborhood kids would play tackle football on the concrete. I know some cold.

The Dallas Cowboys franchise are nothing like the Cowboys I grew up a fan of. They use to be a proud well run organization.I really don't think players look at it that way. Or anyone for that matter. America's Team these days means constant ridicule on a national and even at times international level, and basically being a synonym for ineptitude and incompetence. That's the reality of what Jerry has done to this once great franchise.
They still are. The problem is they are running it as a business to make money instead of running it like a football team trying to win a super bowl. The Dallas Cowboys franchise are nothing like the Cowboys I grew up a fan of. They use to be a proud well run organization.

People need to take a stand and stop encouraging your children and grandkids to be Cowboy fans.
Message boards are all about examining what someone probably meant. It's also interesting that if you let people talk long enough, they reveal what they're made of. That's also a way you can decode what someone meant so that's what I'm doing here. He mentioned warm weather and playing indoors. He likes comfort and shelter. You like your tough football players wanting comfort and shelter? You like the opposition knowing your potential QB likes comfort and shelter and has a potential thing to get in his head about? Again I ask, what was the benefit of saying these things? Play it close to the vest and say you like Dallas for their rich history and leave it at that.Who really cares, it’s not a point that really makes a difference. Imagine another universe where HOF players have stated they want to play in Dallas for other than winning a Championship......TaxesMessage boards are all about examining what someone probably meant. Yes, so why be negative?Absolutely. You do know that I was strictly referring to another poster claiming he made "amazing throws", right?
Y be positive? Y be neutral? Maybe it wasn't negative in my eyes? Maybe I want the "amazing throws" explained, as his numbers did not portray that.Yes, so why be negative?
Did you ask or interject how poorly he played against 3rd and 4th stringers? You also compared it to a preseason game, which it was not.Y be positive? Y be neutral? Maybe it wasn't negative in my eyes? Maybe I want the "amazing throws" explained, as his numbers did not portray that.
So, I jumped back to see what you are talking about.
I didn't see his throws as amazing, so I asked what was amazing about them.
Can you explain to me what is negative about that? I really don't get it.
