Mina has Dak 8

They are drafting QBs for teams from scratch for the future. Thats why players like Stafford are way further down than they should be
It actually makes her #8 ranking of Dak Prescott even worse. He's immobile at that point after a load of injuries in a league where unless a quarterback is an elite passer like Matthew Stafford, it renders him even more useless and irrelevant as evidenced by how much success mobile quarterbacks had in the play offs last season.

Ive never seen Dak give up in a game so I'm not sure what that was about. Every QB on every team does the same. Pollard was a no show

As for the defense, they admitted that they were "tired" which was pathetic so they quit.

The MO of this offense has been to go AWOL in the 1st half of playoff games but there's plenty of blame you go around and Mr Jones bears some of it as well
There’s some fans that seem to associate Dak playing poorly with him quitting, which is nonsense. The defense looked tired and uninspired on the Packers first drive. It was an absolute pathetic performance. If your defense can’t stop the opponent and you can’t run the ball you’re in trouble, regardless who you have a QB and look no further than this past Super Bowl and Mahomes. For whatever reason we show up flat for playoff games. It looks like we don’t care. Right from the opening kickoff, we look stuck in the mud. If you can’t run the ball and your defense can’t make stops and force turnovers it all gets thrown on your QB.

This is the reason Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen have had their playoff struggles. They’re having to play hero ball. It takes a great team to win a championship. Put Jalen Hurts on a lot lesser team than one he’s playing for and he’s going nowhere. He looked awful during the second half of the 2023 season. There was even talk of benching him. It makes a huge difference for a QB when they have a great team around them. Hurts passed for less than 3000 yards last season and only had 18 TD passes. Rarely are you going to win crap in the NFL with those QB numbers but he had a great team around him and a 2000 yard rusher. Not to mention the number one defense.

Yeah but that’s what offseason football content is. Fluff minicamp quotes and hypothetical podcast exercises
Serious question for you. Where would you rank Dak Prescott in the NFC East out of the 4 starting quarterbacks on the premise Russell Wilson starts for the Giants?

A lot of people are ranking Daniels on potential and expected development, as opposed to what he’s shown so far. That kind of thinking ended up mis-ranking Stroud last year when he didn’t really improve from his rookie campaign. What Jayden’s shown so far isn’t dramatically better than Dak’s best season

Dak can be anywhere from 1-3. None of the 3 QBs are obviously tiers better than the others. I used to really vouch for Hurts to be high in these kinds of lists, but once he won, that validation feels a lot less necessary. Put him at 10, 15, 20, not really moved to react to it as much.

Everyone is better than Jalen Hurts until it’s time to be better than Jalen Hurts

See you next time on one of my threads...... you'll be here along with @MountaineerCowboy and @zrinkill ..... they're always here. So much for ignore.

I would have it

Hurts
Daniels
Wilson/Prescott

There's no question Hurts is #1 in the division. He does what's required to win games. He's clutch. I would have him as part of a "big five" (Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson and Hurts).

I was more impressed with Daniels than you. Washington won a lot of close games and a lot of that was down to him. They have been a loser franchise for so many years as well thus making it even more impressive especially as they weren't exactly blessed with talent and All Pros. Let's see how he gets on this season - my view is he will progress. I think Stroud is good but Daniels is better. He throws a nice ball and his wheels are a game changer. Reached NFC Championship in his first season.

The difficult question is Prescott 3 or 4. Wilson is a Superbowl winner and I thought he played pretty well some of the time behind a banged up offensive line in Pittsburgh and the Giants will be a better fit. I think they will let him cook. Prescott was bad before the injury and given the state of his body at this point in his career I would have them as the joint worst quarterback in the division.

What does this even mean. We all know what it implies. This is the sickness of the modern American mind. It is kaput
It means blame the brotherhood yada yada yada

It means players are overpaid in a Capitalist systems yada yada

It means culture yada yada yada
Always project and accuse rather then stay on topic. Their confused little minds are mush

I thought Dak Haters stayed on the backup QB topic???

I thought sample size doesn't matter....if only Joe Milton got that Cooper Rush energy. :lmao:

Ps. I've watched the Dak Haters move the Goal Post for 10 years. :lmao:

Dak was legitimately All-Pro caliber in 2023, and is still relatively young. Russell hasn’t been that since… 2020? And is 37 during the season. I think it is morely likely we see Dart this year than it is Wilson outplays healthy Dak

Pretty accurate way of saying it. Hurts isn’t the most arm-talented QB in the league. Pretty much everyone can agree with that. But let’s not pretend that Dak is on anyone’s top list in that category either.

Cutler had more arm talent than both of them…so did Jeff George. They weren’t exactly leaders of men or ‘gamers’ that other teammates would rally with.

From memory the Cowboys faced teams with the worst pass defense in the league in 2023 and it was a randomly poor season for quarterback play. All the stars aligned for him to make All Pro when in reality he is no way near that level in a normal nfl season.

I think it depends on how good the Giants team is next season. They lost a lot of close games last season with poor quarterback play. The defense has improved and he has an excellent receiver. He could surprise and have a good season.

Exactly. I don't see how anyone could objectively have it any different unless they are talking for fantasy football, which I couldn't give two craps about.

I am.not dismissing Dak not playing good in that game.

But people forget how bad the defense was.

They always blame Dak for not having offense hold the ball and help the defense. Then you say GB had the ball first and drove down without 3rd downs and scored.

Then they say Dak threw and interception that broke the defense.

When Dak beat Tampa, it wasn't because Dak played well. It was because Tampa wasn't a good team. And Brady was washed up.

Again Dak needs to play better in playoffs but he is not the sole source of issues with Dallas.
