Mina Kimes calls out SAS about Dak

Which side of the ball had the ball with a chance to ice the game?

Mina out-Mina'd herself.

Teams who score 31 points in the NFL win 80% of the time. Teams who give up 34 points win 15% of the time. You can look it up for yourself.

But lets not let small details get in the way of false narratives. Continue on your journey of capping.
These are such small, pathetic ways of looking at football. On that field, it's amazing it wasn't 50-49.

You play the game that is on the field.

This is from @Vtwin

The defense ended Raven's possessions forcing a punt or turnover on downs 5 times.

The Ravens defense ended Cowboy's possessions forcing a punt or turnover on downs 3 times. They killed themselves on 2 other drives with a fumble and a blocked FG on a 59 yard attempt.

The Cowboys offense went 5-13 on 3rd down conversions.

Blaming the defense entirely on this loss is madness. I can't say terminal because it will never stop. lol

Prescott had five chances with the ball in his hands on two drives inside the ten yard line, and he didn't get it done. That was as big a reason for the loss as any of the other reasons for the loss.

So Dak gets the free pass...but not the defense.

Why?

Dak gets absolved of any errors...since the defense does it too.
No Dak doesn't get absolved of any error and I never claimed he did. My point has always been there are much bigger problems than the QB. Dak made mistakes but that's not the biggest reason we lost the game.

He drove down the field and kept us in the game that isn't choking
Objectively you have to point out the bad PI call that looked like a sure int had not Lamb got away with a little opi.

Also of course the fact that Prescott didn't get it done with three shots from inside the ten.

Stay objective my man. Stay objective.

I watched sequence that went on with that particular video came from live or not live but I watched it They both call him out they said they both don't understand it that if this team doesn't make the playoffs 70% is the defense and the defensive coaching staff and 30% goes everywhere else that's the truth We once again might have another historically bad defense maybe they'll dig their way out now but right now as it stands we're going into the fourth year since 2016 that the Cowboys are scoring close to 30 points and giving up close to 30 points which one is worse I would say giving up 30 points and losing games because your defense can't step up that's pretty bad when you're going into your 4th year since 2016 that Prescott has to play with a bad defense and like Meena Khan says dudes dropping Dimes and he's been nails all season, last season as well..

I remember this place in 2014 that said that he might be washed it was all his fault the way they started that lame duck Mike Mccarthy year right before he got hurt they're saying it was on Prescott that he played bad before he got hurt did they watch those games the whole team was horrible until Mike Mccarthy figured out he should use Rico Dowdo how they fixed the offensive line a bit the defense started playing a little bit better for Zimmer once they got some guys back but before that it was the worst team I've ever seen the Cowboys assemble for the first four games and then blame it on the quarterback..

But what did Prescott do he had a bad year he got hurt and once again he put up MVP like numbers the very next year and then now he's backing it up with another Goodyear which they said every other year Prescott's not good but I've seen a dude has an offense putting up close to 30 points a game and losing and they're blaming the offense last possession in that game where they scored 31 instead of 34 But what if they did It was could have been easily tied by that last sequence look the blame is 70% on the defense you can pass the other 30% around wherever you want but they're right those two against SAS they lit him up and he still had nothing to say backtracked double talk..

Yea I do just like the objective dpi on the ravens and the "fumble". We can play the ref game all day.

Neither of those things have anything to do with this in the context of your statement that Prescott drove down the field and kept us in the game.

He also didn't drive down the field on five of his 11 possesions.

At least that's what i see when I look at it objectively.

I am a Mina Kimes fan and her disagreeing with Stephen A. Smith makes me a bigger fan. However, the video does not provide full context since it starts when Smith was finishing his comment. Can someone confirm? Did Smith specific the 3rd and goal situation as an example of the offense not getting the job done? If so, I do think he has an argument for the Ravens game only since he knows as much of the future as anyone else. What happened Sunday:
  • Dallas threw away a third down touchdown throw per the head coach's instruction
  • Dallas kicks the field goal and ties the game 31-31
  • Dallas kicks off for a touchback and Baltimore has the ball at their 35-yard line
  • Baltimore throws one pass, gets into field goal range, and wins 34-31
Now the what if relates directly to what Smith was stating (I'm guessing). Leaving in what special teams and defense did (or didn't do):

  • Dallas passes and completes a third down touchdown, kicks the extra point, and takes a 35-31 lead
  • Dallas kicks off for a touchback and Baltimore has the ball at their 35-yard line
  • Baltimore throws one pass, successfully calls time out (again), throws a hail mary
What if outcomes:

1. Baltimore wins with a zero seconds left, I'm sorry, one magical second remaining desperation pass that the defense AGAIN fails to defend
2. Baltimore wins after a ref throws a flag for defensive pass interference, has an easy shot at the endzone, completes the pass that the defense AGAIN fails to defend
3. Baltimore's loses 35-31

Smith hinges his case on outcome #3. And it was a plausible outcome that was not attempted in reality.
