I binge-watched Mindhunter on Netflix. It was fascinating. It's all about how the FBI figured out how to profile serial killers. They had to interview disgusting killers in prison. They had to go through a long process of learning how to create profiles that helped them to catch these criminals. Worth the watch IMO.

Edmund Kemper has to be up there as one of my favorite characters of all time. He's so dang funny even though he's a sick & twisted individual. I'm only half-way through the season and just wrapped up the episode where he had a pizza delivered. 'Pizza?!? You guys!!!' LOL Glad this is just a television show or else I'd feel horrible for laughing at a serial killer.

Ed Kemper is a real guy.

If you google him...the guy playing him actually does a good job...looks like him, sounds like and has some of the same mannerisms.

Was Brainpaint part of the interview group?

I started watching the 1st episode, then after the guy blew his head off (pretty graphic), decided not my thing.

What I liked about this show is how it started making me analyze even the main characters. Every main character seems to have their own quirks, so you start to say to yourself "Wait, are they a psychopath?"

Ford is socially awkward, his girlfriend has a wild past with mommy and daddy issues, Tench seems to be beat up due to his adopted child problems and unable to have a family naturally, and Carr seems to get into so deep with the psychopath mindset that she is sympathizing with them.

Obviously, I don't think they are psychopaths - it's just the mindset this show puts you in. You analyze personality traits.

Really fun show, despite the dark subject matter. I was most surprised by the humor, it's on-point.

That might have been the most graphic scene in the whole first season.

Not that much gore at in the show.

The head getting blown off was the only action gore I can remember in it.

Any other gore parts are just some photographs of crime scenes IIRC.
