- We'll get as much info in the next three days as we've had the last three weeks because (I think) media will be allowed into practice each day.

- Butler and Mickens will be there finally, how will they do?

- Why does T. Romo always wear that jockey cap? If I could pull J. Simpson, I wouldn't care who else thought I was bald.

- I wonder if it will be so hot that they'll have to practice in the 50-yard field/indoor facility at Southlake? (or is it Coppell?)

- We can whip any NFC East team in our underwear (no pads that is). Let's see what the Eagles are made of in 100-degree heat on the hallowed turf of Standridge Stadium! ... It's on!!!

- I should have just bought the six-pack tonite instead of the 12-pack ..

I don't know.

Six packs just piss me off. You finally start feeling warm... and you have to stop.

Why not just get the 12, and enjoy the buzz for an hour.

Five minutes a beer for an hour, that's pretty stout man. I doff my hat to you. For real? ...

You are the Kobayashi, or Joey Chestnut, of drinking.

Why are there hot dog eating championships (who cares?), when more importantly, there should be a speed beer drinking championship on Coney Island every July 4? ... Then blood alcohol levels would be drawn .... I know about Kobayashi, but what about the guy that can handle his liquor the best? I would bow and courtsey to that guy.

OK, back to the Cowboys ... is Brewster or Isdaner or any rookie going to be able to make the team because our OL is going to break down because they're huge guys and old too .. maybe that's why Holland has been asked to practice at center even though he's never played center in his life ..

Restating my thesis, in part (ahem):

Our OL is old, heavy and slow, and makes a lot of money ...

Can Brewster or Isdaner or any rookie make the team, because our OL starters are liable to break down bit by bit as the season wears on ...

I read that Holland has been asked to take snaps at center even though he's never played center in his life .. (and he's 30 years old, right?)

Will Free or McQuistan ever pan out?

O Linemen are at their best in their 30s. When our line was healthy last year, they looked pretty good. Flo was injured, but kept marching out there ilke a trooper. Maybe he shouldn't have, but he did. If healthy, he will be quite serviceable this year. Kosier is unsung in that things ran pretty smoothly when he was in there. Ditto for Holland. Depth is an issue for sure. Hopefully, we'll get a glimpse of what the young guys can do in the preseason games. McQuistan, Free - One of them needs to FINALLY step up. And did we find a gem in Brewster or Isdaner? Time will tell. We could use a little luck at the O Line for a change.

Can't see how you even enjoy it if you go that fast.

Darn right on the premise of this thread. We get actual pads and a little hitting now, so we can get some news on Brewster and the young O-linemen. Plus maybe some word on Siavii and the D-linemen.

Not to mention that Victor Butler and Mickens finally get to practice. Butler is on the all-great attitude team, so I'm really rooting for him.

OTAs are better than nothing this time of year, but this is a lot closer to real football.
