I think it's perfectly ok to withhold judgement until pads come on and the action ramps up in preseason. It's just good to hear positive stuff vs this guy just can't play.

BTW I do like Broadus' response, he was managing the game. Garrett w/the right call and Orton listened, but in a game situation I would hope not too much confusion.

In a game situation supposedly Callahan is going to be in the booth. I guess he will be relaying through Garrett or Wilson. But game time decisions like clocking or TO would be Garrett's call anyway.

When's the last time we had a booth OC? I actually like that, from a tactical standpoint I feel like you can keep something of a clear head.

No, actually there is an article out that says he will be in the booth. (relays plays to Wilson) He did leave it open to change that if it doesn't work out.

I think that is the key. This is new to the staff and they are most likely working out the mechanics. Garrett was evasive obviously in the last months but there was probably some truth to what he was saying as well.

There was a lot of complaining about his lack of experience at S (1 year) and coming from a small program. A lot of AOA comparisons.
