Interesting article by Jonathan Bales about minimizing turnovers at all costs Vs attacking defenses deep.
I thought early last year this was related to the horrible performance of the O line, then as they began to play better and Romo had more confidence in them they began to look for more deep routes.
It appears to me the O line is playing better then it did at anytime last year, yet we are still not looking to go long but 5% of the time.
It seems to me just attempting it more might help the effectiveness of the short and middle of the field routes this O coordinator wants to utilize as well as helping the running game.
