We need the Vikings to beat the Falcons next week and they'll most likely have to do it with Tarvaris Jackson. So far today he's 4-6 for 62 yards and 2TDs vs. the Cardinals, and the Vikings are up 21-0.

early in the second I think. Rice just caught a short TD pass from Jackson. I picked AZ to win this game.

Arizona wrapped up their division, do they have anything to play for?

They wrapped up the division title last week for the first time in what...40-50 years? I figured they would have a major let down today.

I thought with Brees, Favre, and Eli basically falling out of contention(even tho none deserved to be MVP, IMO), he'd step up, but it looks like nah.

Yeah, but nobody really respects the Cardinals cause they havent beaten anybody, but us. They had a chance to prove against the Vikings and next week against the Pats, they were contenders. Right now, they look like whoever goes to their building to start January is gonna handle em.

How does this help the Cowboys?

It doesn't, directly. The Falcons play the Vikings next week though and that is what we are most interested in.

If we win the next three and Romo looks good doing it then he will be in contention I think.

Not a chance. He's not even in pro bowl contention and that Pitt game ruined any chance of him getting MVP.

A win by MN just helps them in the North. We may have to compete with them for a playoff spot although I'm more worried about Atl.

Minnesota looks really good right now. Defense is getting some major pressure.

When is the voting for the MVP done? It's either late December or early January. I think it's late enough for whomever makes a lot of hay gets attention. It's definitely not after the postseason.

The last QB to get the MVP and win a SB was Warner in 99. Brady didn't do it last year.
