I’m surprised that no one seems to know how you run an offense early against a team that blitzes like crazy

You establish the run to force the defense to become more conservative and pay for pass blitzes with runs up the middle

It’s not sexy, but it’s working and will help open things up later on.

Oh, and we’ve scored touchdowns on two of three drives, only punting when we started at the one.

It’s super annoying. We score a TD on one drive, but then they don’t like the playcalling from our 2 yard line. You take what the defense gives you in the pass game. You impose your will in the run game.
