Yep, making Dak the highest paid player in NFL history was probably not the best idea in hindsight.

Not blaming Dak for the season with this trash defense, but he was never worth that contract.

He wouldn't have been worth what we would have gotten for him after year 3 of his rookie deal. But we would be the ones grinning.

It's really bizarre. Dallas will get up for games against the Eagles or some powerhouse but then lay eggs to completely mediocre teams or garbage like Arizona. That's gotta be coaching right?

Kind of hoping the Eagles just go ahead and win next week and put me out of my misery before we play the 10-4 Chargers. I want the Eagles to collapse and I want Dallas to go on a run for the ages, but the realist in me knows there's zero chance of that happening, even if there's technically a 1 percent chance.

Now, when the Eagles do make the playoff as the East champion, I want them to be absolutely demolished. At least give me that.

If he checks out at times now, imagine how he will act after getting paid.

He's a great talent. But u can't have two of the highest paid wrs in the league.

Because of the way this team is built, an off game (or even average game) from Dak results in a loss. You can't expect to have success with that formula.

We weren’t going to win anything anyway and I’m not surprised we didn’t play well

We are several players away before we can really compete with the top teams - CB, S,LB and OT

Don’t think Eberflus is the right guy either - can’t make adjustments when basic fans can see issues from the couch

Add to your list a box of “depends” for Dak when he plays a good defense or plays in the playoffs.

True but when you give a B-rated QB the bag, it doesn’t leave much money for a supporting cast, and Dak is just not capable of carrying this team. So I blame Dak for taking the money (not really because if an old senile man gave me much more money than what I was worth, I’d take it).

Well, I still enjoy any win since I tempered my expectations for this team. I was not expecting the playoffs and only got a little hyped about the possibility because of so much talk about it. I will get joy if we beat the Chargers next week, or the Commanders, or the Giants. What can I say, I've reduced myself to whatever thrills I can get. It hurts less when you don't have expectations.

But yes, I still love a good choke by one of our rivals.
