How much concern do you have over this game?

The concerns for this game are;

One, Minny needs it bad, they are home, in their new stadium, crowd etc.. and two, it's a doughnut game, Giants in ten days.

You don't think their defense is capable of containing the run game and confusing our QB?

My understanding (only having watched one early Vikings game) is that their defense is better against the pass than the run, in which case I'm not terribly concerned about that.

I don't think this offense is stoppable to be honest - it isn't like the offenses we think of from the mid 2000s that were high octane passing offense. This is an offense that is built to grind and push through grit - and I don't really think there is a way to slow it down consistently.

Turnovers and poor special teams play is how we lose this game.

The video talked about how Kirk Cousins burned the Cowboys secondary.

I know Sam Bradford. I have seen Sam Bradford play. And Sam Bradford is no Kirk Cousins.

Bradford won't have time to find the holes in the deep zones. Even with our pass rush, the Vikes just don't have the OTs to protect him. Tackle well, and we'll be ok on offense.

Defensively, they can be run on and you can screen them. The downfield passing is where we'll have a hard time against them. If we bet up by two scores, it's over. But then, they haven't lost a game where they've had a defensive or ST score yet, and they pull it off a lot.

This game needs to be payback for that 2009 playoff second half when Romo couldn't buy time to get off a throw to save his live and we somehow turned Ray Edwards into a one-game allpro.

The more we win, and the more DBs we have missing, the more concern I have with each passing week. This MIN team was a contender not long ago, but they really have lost a lot of talent. Tough to overcome the OL hits on top of losing the running game. Their defense is legit, though.

For some reason, I can't see this DAL team looking ahead to NYFG. For one, they team really doesn't get ahead of itself ever. Two, they don't strike me as being overly concerned with the other NFC teams. I think they really do just worry about their own performance and trust they'll win if they execute properly.

We match up pretty well agains them, yeah. Our coverage teams have been much better this season, but I do worry about their ST play. It'll be the best test yet, too, if Dak can really avoid making bad throws under interior blitz pressure. And if Elliott's really as good in passpro as he seems to be. It's a game we should win, though, if we just don't make mistakes, and we don't make a lot of mistakes.

Honestly, every single game concerns me. Our offense has been potent, but our outside receivers have been inconsistent. More importantly, our defense has been fair to weak at best. Still, my money is on our offense being better than the Viking's defense...by a wider margin than their offense is better than our defense.

Can we agree that Risen is long on opinions and short on being right with any of them and just let it go? Every single sane poster on the board knew the value of his takes back when he started saying CBs aren't an important defensive position.

Risen's here for three reasons: to eat crow, make the occasional funny joke, and to help us get through the long offseasons with his draft content.

Vikes have zero running game. Bradford is a below average QB. Other than Diggs their receivers are mediocre at best.
Defensively they have a good secondary but I think we can run all over them.
