It meant, that Callahan is going to give his order of needs and who he feels fits our team better. (his rankings) Basically saying, he needs to go in their and fight for what he wants and hopefully they will rank it high. That is why it is a big day for us fans, because Broaddus knows we all want OL.

I just hope he doesn't say that he could make due with what he has, give him another year to coach em up speech. He needs more talent, I hope he realizes that and pushes us to get trenches early.

He is serious, but I hope we wouldn't do that, there are too many similar safety's to Reid in later round. We need to take an impact player in the 1st round, or trade down if we want Reid, he can be there later in the 1st.

Just to be clear...Although Broaddus is an LSU guy, he has said many times that the Cowboys like Reid more than he does.

I watched film on this guy and his highlights show his ceiling, but in full game film, he misses too many tackles, over pursing and seemed out of position too much for a 1st rounder.

NFL network was saying this is the type of guy that is going to boom or bust, and they do not have a great feel on him as a NFL player.


Me, he seems like he is a hard worker and in the right system he will do well but I personally would be more happy getting him in the 2nd or a trade down but not at 18.


Scouting report-
3/30/13: Reid had an inconsistent junior year that hurt his draft stock. He seemed to miss Tyrann Mathieu, Morris Claiborne and Brandon Taylor. Reid's splash plays were down, and he didn't have as large a presence. Reid especially needs to improve his pass-coverage skills for the NFL. He was burned through the air throughout 2012. Reid probably should've gone back to school to improve before going pro.
