Miscellaneous thoughts after rewatching most of the ATA game

• TNew had man 2 man coverage on Crumpler the entire 1st half (shutting him down), then he went back to covering the Falcon WR's in the 2nd half (gave up a TD, had good coverage, surprisingly good throw by Vick).
• Carpenter had 2 nice open field tackles on Vick, one on a QB spy and one while out at OLB.
• Barber was money, he runs so hard and tough he had Deion Sanders begging for him 2 start.
• On the 4th down play where Crumpler was WIDE OPEN, roy took himself out injured it seemed, with Elam and Watkins at safety.
• Henry struggled. On the deep ball, he didn't get a jam. He also gave up a wide open 10 yard slant and the TD he gave up in the red zone was awful.
• A. Glen was solid and actually had good coverage on the deep ball, he just misplayed the ball, like he thought it was going short.
• Romo was solid, distributing the ball all over. Good game for Witten, Glenn and Owens.
• Canty and Spears are invisible on passing plays.
• Ware (great game, awesome INT) is our pressure man, with Hatcher and Ratliff providing good options off the bench.
• We HAVE to fix this problem of leaving FB's WIDE OPEN for TD's in the red zone. Heads need to roll!!!!
• Roy Williams had a quiet game.
• As much as I dislike Vick, he had a very good game throwing the ball. I didn't think he had it in him.
• Nice kick by Gramatica. 48 yards with room to spare.

Canty was in Vick's face when Ware intercepted the pass for the TD.

Looks like Roy is the one responsible for covering the FB. He came off the FB to lay some wood on Crumpler (without the ball???). From the PC, Bill sounded ticked off and said that the same guy is making the mistake on that play. Roy???

And when was the last time Juluis Jones broke a tackle? Michael Turner sure would be a nice pickup in FA.

Canty was in Vick's face when Ware intercepted the pass for the TD.

Play was designed to let him through with little resistance, Vermeil even said as much. Play was mostly all Ware (and a bad pass by Vick).

and I can't recall seeing a CB cry as much as Hall did throughout the game. My lord, every play he was crying about something. I can't stand the guy.:bang2::bang2:

canty was in vick's face on that play because it was a screen and they let him go!

There were four people running towards Vick and they weren't all D-lineman. Its not Roy's responsibility to guard TWO people. He picked his poison on that play. His usual responsibility is the TE. Watch Bradie James in the coming games.

I realize they let him go, but instead of flowing to the RB he made a disciplined play there. I was just making a point. Does Ware pick that without the 6'7" Canty in front of him? IDK.

Hall is indeed annoying. Now crying for TO to be suspended? Sounds like the kid that got his lunch money stolen.
