Sorry for this post ,but I'm getting a little sick to my stomach already. From what I read here ,I'm not alone ,and that makes me feel a little better.



I'm soooo nervous, that I can't eat, sleep and I'm a bit short with the wife.

She says "It's Only a Football Game".

Wow, I can't understand where some peoples priorities are.

I told her, and I swear to you guys, that after we win this game I will run around the house (outside) naked in 3* temps.

I just had shoulder surgery so I'll have to do it with a sling. but I Guarantee I won't feel the pain or cold.



I'm pretty confident but after whats happened in the past I can't seem to enjoy the day.

I've got a so called friend of mine that keeps calling and telling me how the iggles have the edge and we're going to repeat history.

He's a pretty good friend ,I thought, but after the last few days I'm beginning to wonder.

Well I guess I'm just looking for someone else who is in misery today.

I know there is always a chance they could lose if that were to happen well the sun still comes up the next day and we wait for the long off season to be over with so we can do it all again. However this is a good chance of winning and seeing this team reach their goals and right now that is what I'm looking forward to seeing

I have been optimistic about this team all season long. Even during the bumps in the road I have always felt this team would rally around each other and get things going in the right direction.

For me I never worry about what took place a year or more ago because it has nothing to do with this team here and now.

We have some good players with a good mixture of youth and vets experience who look hungry and playing with the confidence they need to win. Nay Sayers will tell you everything they feel is wrong with this team myself I look at everything that is right about this team.

My girlfriend "hates" football too. I don't really get it. I wish she loved it like I do. I tried so hard to teach her the game so she'd like it, and I failed hard.

I wonder how many guys on here actually have girlfriends/wives that like the Cowboys too.

But to the point, I'm not really that nervous, as I don't think Philadelphia are really in league with Dallas. I expect another blowout to be honest. It just seems to me it's very hard to beat a team that you just got shutout and blown out by the previous week.

After all, it's the same cast of characters from last week. I think if we played this game 100 times, we'd win 95 times.

Keep yourselves busy. Get on that project you've wanted to start for a while now. I've been up since 6 am and have had to keep myself occupied so i won't go insane or have an anxiety attack. It's amazing how much i've managed to get done since this morning. It also keeps my wife happy so she can leave me alone when the football games start.

I don't know either. She says she likes baseball and hockey.

I mean I look at third downs in football and think, "how can anyone not find this somewhat exciting?"

I think third downs, alone, are more exciting than the entire game of baseball. :laugh2:

As far as tonight's game, I am so excited yet I share the sense of dread that some others have. My wife is a HUGE cowboys fan. She's loud, she knows her football, she knows the roster, she knows what play is likely to be run by looking at formation. I'm blessed. And she gets me beer and wings all game long. When she goes shopping she comes back with cowboys stuff. I love that woman.

I am glad my lady loves Dallas. Considering the fact she has family from Oklahoma makes even better. Her parents have been Cowboys fans since the Ice Bowl days. So it feels great to come into a house, filled with Cowboys gear everywhere.

Im so nervous. I had two dreams last night, one of them we won 45-37. The other one we lost and I completely broke down in tears and was jolted awake. I looked around my room full of cowboys posters and memorabilia only to take a deep breath and realize it was only a night mare. I am so ready for this game! I have been nervous for 2 days straight now. I want us to win soo bad! I cannot wait. This time tomorrow we will either be looking forward to 7 days, or looking forward to 7 MONTHS! Lets pray that it is not the latter.
