I'm wasn't familiar with the DTs in this draft so I'll take your word for it. I do prefer big d-line plugs over depth bodies at lbers- lbers come a dime-a-dozen after the elite types. I do, however, know that you can't trust coaches when they talk like that- they're always going to tout 'their guys' as the greatest thing in the world. Usually with very inflated (biased) opinions. What would you expect them to say... 'No, don't get that guy from my team- the one I coached- he sucks.'

He has coached them multiple years regardless of who he is he knows. We've needed a d tackle for years now and had a shot at them. Could have been good but could have sucked too. Oh well. Maybe we can get Michael brockers from Rams

Chris Whaley didn't have a 2nd round grade. It doesn't matter now. The draft is over.

He would have in this draft or at least a 2-3 grade. It was a weak draft class. The level of talent took a big drop off after the 2 qbs, Leonard williams, fowler, white, cooper, and gurley. We have plenty of 1 tech on this roster as well as DEs that can slide to 3tech. We will be more than fine

So did 31 other teams. Perhaps the problem isn't with the Cowboys and you overrate those players or don't know exactly what is going on with them. For some reason our fans think that the Cowboys are complete idiots if they don't draft pet cats. Don't believe the media hype and follow what teams actually do.

Thats funny cause we weren't the only ones who passed on them in 3 rounds. Every team passed on them as well and more then 3 times. Do you know something they don't?
