Passing on him in the 3rd was a joke. He would have been a legit deep threat and return special teams player.

There is no vertical threat on the team. None.

Defenses will play tight and the run and with TO gone this offense will
struggle.

They also did nothing to upgrade over Kosier. Maybe they think Holland is
the answer. Brewster? I get the feeling they'll get him ready to play back up
LT.

On the other hand they did up grade the depth.
Good job Jones!!!

Montrae Holland will start over Kosier... And as for "no deep threat"... Last I've heard Miles Austin is still on the team.

I due agree with the special teams aspect... Dallas is in sore need of a punt return dynamite, like a Roscoe Parrish type of player. Maybe they'll try and trade for someone like that.

Nothing is a mistake at the current time, until these players play in the NFL we don't know who will become good or won't become anything.

I'll believe Holland over Kosier when I see. Before he was hurt Kosier was one of our best linemen. The games he was in the lineup were our best games.

You're absolutely right. I mean, our #1 receiver has a very similar YPR to Larry Fitzgerald and our #2 receiver has a higher YPR than Anquan Boldin. We'll never be able to have an effective passing game without a prototype "deep threat."

I liked Mike Wallace, too.

However, he needs to be polished up as a route runner. Round 3 was a little high for him, imo. I say that based on his route running.

If only we had a Jason Witten, Martellus Bennett or Felix Jones :bang2:

Wasn't this the guy on 60 Minutes...isn't he a little old to play football. :D

Miles Austin never was or is now a deep threat.
He has only been a promising #3 receiver

wouldnt go so far as to call it a joke we didnt take him . would have been a nice pick up no doubt . know you've been calling for us to take him so for weeks now but we didnt .. i feel the same way about not taking rashard johnson a player I thought we really needed .. hopefully austin steps up to be our deep threat ..

Should we start ruing the day?

You should wait until we see Wallace scoring TDs for the Steelers in the
playoffs while we look forward to another off season draft.

It's hard to decide who does a better job of putting teams together the Patriots or the Steelers...
