What do you do if Jaylon's nerve still hasn't fired by March?
Then middle line backer is right behind DE as our biggest need. What do you do if Jaylon's nerve still hasn't fired by March?
I am starting to become very pessimistic about it and think he never plays, or plays at full strength. That said I'd rather spend the resources on a difference maker either on the D Line or secondary. What do you do if Jaylon's nerve still hasn't fired by March?
I like the developing players at LB better than some other positions. What do you do if Jaylon's nerve still hasn't fired by March?
The SLB only plays a handful of snaps. Last week the Cowboys used a Strong Side LB for 7 snaps.I have no ideal how this draft plays out come April, but if Cunningham falls to us in the first round. Rod Marinelli should threaten Jerry with violence if he doesn't pull the trigger on this kid.
Cunningham is a tackling machine and would excel in a Marinelli's defense, despite not recording any sacks this year. Imagine Lee, Smith, Cunningham has our linebacker unit.
I dont think he will. I dont really see him as an NFL rusher. Blitzer yes, rusher no.The SLB only plays a handful of snaps. Last week the Cowboys used a Strong Side LB for 7 snaps.
Smith would need to play some snaps at DE on 3rd and long to make it worth it.
That makes more sense than drafting a standard 4-3 LB IFFFFF Jaylon Smith's leg is working by draft time.I dont think he will. I dont really see him as an NFL rusher. Blitzer yes, rusher no.
Unless he is not going to be healthy, I think the only type of LB we add in the first would be a Leo type player. A guy who can play SLB and RDE on passing downs. Likr a McKinley
As late in the first as we will be drafting, LB being BPA is always a possibilityThat makes more sense than drafting a standard 4-3 LB IFFFFF Jaylon Smith's leg is working by draft time.
Even without Jaylon, I'm hesitant to draft a 4-3 LB in the 1st unless he is by far the BPA. WR, DE and CB are hardest positions to fill.
