now that Fidel is dead, a North American pro sports franchise could soon be in Havana: can it happen?

I doubt it. I get baseball is very popular, but can the Cuban economy support a major league baseball team with prices that are competitive to what the prices are in the states? no chance.

If they could support a team, sure why not, but I just don't see it.

Hopefully with the new administration coming in the trade embargo will be enforced again.
