If Moore is done, that’s 100% a Jerry decision.

Moore has zero authority to meet with him and decide his fate, unless Jerry said so, which is extremely doubtful.

Maybe McCarthy is considering him for the quarterback position. He already knows the offense and could probably be had for the league minimum. He'd just need to dig out that goofy leather helmet.

Didn’t sound like a ringing endorsement for Moore. Obviously wants DQ back though

True but MM says this is NOT a prove-it year .......lol

I would like to find the "Dan Quinn" OC, one who employ more of a modern, offensive scheme. Problem is, those types on the offensive side, usually take the HC positions, which leads me to believe MM would be the favorite to become the playcaller if Moore departs.

Doesn’t sound like Moore will be back. Unfortunately, they’ll probably hire Brian Schottenheimer to game plan, but MM will call plays. Also, sounded like Joe Whitt would replace DQ, if needed. That’s just going off Mike’s words here as a guess, nothing definitive.

The plot thickens.
I'm not sure I'd call what is thickening the plot. This could all be BS. And, if they're blaming the ending to the season just on Moore, they're fooling themselves.

It's pretty easy to say 'we like Kellen in this role and he will return if he doesn't find a position elsewhere.'
I agree but this FO makes silly moves at times. They may welcome him back if he doesn't get another serious offer. They seem to like him
