You have no idea how easily death threats get tossed about.
I wrote a few scenes for a project that got made a few years ago and 3 people got so upset that they found out who was responsible for those scenes (I was ghost-writing too for this one) and sent me direct death threats.

For a few scenes in a freaking movie!
