No one walks into a store and buys assault weapons in the state of Texas. assault weapons are very hard to get and you have to be licensed to get them. And the state of Texas has laws forbidding psychos from owning any kind of firearm. Why don't we just make murder illegal. That should work.

We have armed officers in many of our schools in the valley.....just commen sense....unfortunately, this is the world we live in.

actually texas changed a lot of the laws last year that made it easier to arm yourself. thank you gov abbott. he wanted Texas to be #1 in gun purchases.

I wouldn't rely on arming teachers, they need professional armed guards, whether it's police or some other professional armed security personnel. Perps do what they do because they can. They choose easy targets with no resistance. The only way to stop that is to stop being an unarmed, unprotected, easy target.

In little Nacogdoches there are 2 to 3 police at every school (6 schools) patrolling every day ......... If they want to stop this a police presence at schools is a must ........ which means more tax dollars ......... its worth it.
