Mike trying to clean it up......in other words, there's nothing Coop can do in a few games to take Dak's job. IF Dak was out for the season, maybe, but a few games.....never. In fact, I would argue this is probably the same with most, if not all NFL current starting QBs.

Jerry knows this too. He just knows which way the wind is blowing and will say whatever it takes to keep you invested. Congratzz to all the people (sometimes me) who continually fall for it.

So McCarthy publicly getting undermined by Jerry. Same pattern we've seen with head coaches the past 20+ years. Anyone think Sean Payton really wants to come here?

Until THEY HEAR THE BOO'S!! It's not going to change anything, but it will bother Dak maybe help him step his game up

When people were mad at Dak for demanding top dollar, this is why I supported him. You can't trust the league or the owners to look out for you so you don't offer a discount. Get what you're worth because you never know what will happen next

Big Mike didn't get the memo, it seems.

wait until dak throws an interception or fails to complete passes and the crowd start booing dak again like they clearly did in 2018 at home ( Jerry spent a first rounder to get Amari after that tennessee horrible game ).
If dak stalls again like he did in the opener, his leverage and fan and media patience will run thin. Especially after he put the cowboys through the hoops and squeezed eltie QB money .
Dak will have little wiggle room for another mediocre to bad games.

Good for Mike. Ridiculous he has to clear this up

Absolutely. When you are the HC of the Cowboys, you don’t just have to overcome your opponent every Sunday, you also have to overcome your egomaniac owner and entitled “royal” family meddling in things they know very little about lol

Zeke and MM basically said "Jerry says this for you guys" meaning the media because he knows how to get clicks...

Man...

He missed a perfect opportunity to look right into the camera and say, with a dead serious expression....

" We will evaluate the situation as it progresses, then make the decision to go with the hot hand, or the broken hand".

I dare you not to bust out laughing if you saw/heard that.
