I was surprised Tyron struggled a bit with Haason Reddick
He’s had about 3 weeks of practice vs a guy who’s been beating just about everyone the last 2 seasons. He got (a) win, learn from it and move on. Another 2 to 3 weeks getting his feel back and it’s really unlikely to happen again!

Good stuff! What a find, taking a chance on him, and it working out better than some of the other LT's drafted in round 1. I've not heard any other rookie LT working out as well this year.
I've heard some good things about Cross (?) in Seattle, but what's the word on all the other high drafted tackles from this year's draft?

Board was in meltdown mode after that pick. Lol

I'm not joking when I say I can tell how good a draft pick or free agent pick up is by how much this board melts down. I'm quoted for saying Tyler will be our best draft pick in years even over Parsons over this boards reaction. Weeks later I said watch Maher have his best season ever over this boards reaction. Basically, this board has no clue how to evaluate football talent.

I think we found a pro bowl left tackle at pick number 24, that's not bad, hats off to the front office on a great draft pick.
Think the rookie Smith could be a HOF left guard in this league...but dont think anyone thought he was going to be this good at left tackle his rookie year.. What a great find. Hes a beast.

ts amazing how we have lucked into 2 players in critical positions in the 1st RD in the last 2 drafts when we were set to draft other players but they were gone by the time of our pick.

Kid is a rookie and has a bright future. We have been spoiled with great LT play for a long time now.

That's how the draft works, not lucky they still had these guys there when they picked him. Smith (they had at 16) and would probably go higher in a redraft. As with Parsons, they wanted Surtain(who would've been a good pick) and traded down, got a 3rd still got Micah and I saw him as #2 in a recent redraft. How is this lucky? Give some credit, man.

Outside of Taco, we’ve been spoiled on just about every 1st round pick Over the last decade or so

I know that may sound easy to do in the 1st Rd.. but it’s not.

Building a competitive team is working out for the Cowboys.. and now that McCarthy is here. It looks like the team isn’t afraid to add decent talent after the draft either.

Mo Claiborne and Taco are the only questionable picks since 2010 and everyone thought MO was going to be a star. Now Taco on the other hand, that was a head scratcher.

Ekwonu in Carolina has given up 5 sacks and 12 penalties with an overall pff score of 63 for whatever that’s worth!
