Not sure I take Linderbuam with Zion Johnson and Karlaftis still on board. For it's a case of Johnson being a better LG ( not to mention he can play other positions) upgraded margin of Linderbuam. I'll defer to Quinn on Karlaftis.......

The bottom line for me ......we have way too many holes to fill than burning a 1st on position with a current starter. No, he's not elite but he's not as bad as many seem to think.

I would be ecstatic with those first two rounds. My preference is to get edge rusher first, but I will gladly take far and away the best center over a lesser pass rusher if the good ones are already gone.

Do you consider Karlaftis a good one?

Both Linderbaum and Karlafis didn't have great measurements nor athletic testing, but they both have terrific tape. Happy with any of the three mentioned.

More than one round in the draft:cool:
Also Mclay was on the draft show or combine show and was gushing about the oline in this draft. Interesting part was him saying there were a nomber of OTs that he believes can move inside to OG.

Wonder if that means finally drafting Tyron's potential replacement .........let him place G couple years and kick him outside

100 percent what I would do, for both picks.

Linderbaum should be our #1 target. Unless someone highly rated falls, like T Walker or an OT

What would you at C?

You still think Biadasz is quality?

Linderbaum is the best choice between him, Johnson and the kid from Purdue.

Matter of opinion......too many open starting positions to use 24 on a center. I'm confident we can find a solid upgrade in mid-round or free agency if needed.

Biadasz was a mid round pick. And there isn't much in the FA market at C.

Linderbaum can also play OG. Would be foolish to pass on him for the DE from Purdue, for example.

This is the problem with the OL right here instead of draft a real and true LG they rather experiment/project guys to a position. That's how you end up with Connor Williams. If McClay wants a LG draft Zion Johnson it's not that hard, this team is too cute that’s why they get beat up by well ran teams.

I’m taking Linderbaum Pennington and Green at 24 over any others likely to be available except Davis

IF Biadasz was that bad or non-quality as you put it, I have believed they would have benched him just like Connor Williams. Look I'm not saying he's elite or even great, but to use a 1st round pick on a replacement, especially if we lose 3-4 starters at other positions. Hell, I'll give ya the kid from Purdue but no way I'm drafting Linderbaum over Zion Johnson, who BTW can play several OL positions.

Linderbaum has never played OG........

Same here, but I have to say that it bums me out that we're essentially in no man's land when it comes to the pass rushers in this draft. The top guys are gone before #24 and the second tier is picked clean by our second round pick.
