The Detroit Lions new OC is named Jim Bob Cooter. I just love that name.

Still upsets me we didn't take the chance on him where he went.

He went early 3rd round. The Cowboys would have had to take him with their early 2nd round pick which would have been risky for a guy with his admitted drug addiction. And no one knew if he could be anything more than a nickel back at his size. Playing safety at that size would have been another risky gamble. Now the pick they used was on Escobar so they still managed to blow it since they refuse to use him.

Shows how stupid refs are, the defender contacted the wr before the ball was even there and the receiver makes a diving catch to the ground with no one touching him but the ref claims he was down by contact and even argued with the Cards QB. smh

Couldn't comment on this earlier because the forum wasn't up for me, but Peterson played textbook coverage on Smith on this particular third down play. As soon as the ball was snapped he shielded Smith to the sideline and immediately got his head around and was watching the QB the whole time to make the break up. It's the type of coverage I've been begging to see from our corners but I was told here that DB's in the league dont do that.

Why did we not get Chris Johnson when he was a free agent this summer?

Baltimore has gone from a perennial Super Bowl contender to one of the worst teams in the league in one year.

Shows how quick things can change.

Hey look at Dallas, only 2 wins and last year looking a play away from the NFC Championship !!!

A missed opportunity. As a fan that's gonna haunt me for a long time. Everything set up for us that year. You win and go to Seattle where we owned them earlier in the year. New England would've been a tough matchup, but I think we would've been favored because of how we were running the ball and would've been by far the best and most well rounded offense they faced.

So close but yet so far.

.Chris Johnson had a thousand yards year before last at 3.9 and averaged 4.3 a carry last year. Nothing spectacular, but the pickings were slim and we didn't draft a running back. But, right now McFadden is looking like a pretty good pickup. If he can do it again against the Seahawks, we can win the game and drag the Eagles and the Skins into a tie for last place with us. Then we can root for the Giants to lose to the Saints in the Big Easy.
