They did look horrible against Oakland. I thought maybe the odd time of the game contributed to San Diego's sloppy performance.

san diego has similar psyche to the cowboys. they play differently after losses.

SD is mercurial. But I suspect that OAK was the beneficiary of a fairly textbook trap game. Whether they should have been or not, they were up for us at home. Then spit the bit on the road in OAK, and playing well again tonight against a good Colts team.

This wouldn't be the kind of game you'd expect San Diego to win. The AFC West is tough this year. They account for all our losses. I'm anxious to see how we perform against some of the better teams in the NFC.

Romo and Rivers are eerily similar. Both are heavily scrutinized from week to week and have put up great numbers throughout their careers. Both guys have almost polar opposite performances from week to week. It's just mind boggling how similar these two teams are.

We've lost to two 6-0 teams, and beaten the bad teams we've played. The only possible inconsistent game we had this season was the loss to the Chargers, who happened to have been on one of their hot games, as you mentioned.

I have always thought that SD was our doppelganger in the AFC. They both seem to have the same problems, ups and downs year after year.

Welcome to the NFL. When it comes to wins and losses, though, we've lost to two very good teams, beaten two bad ones, and got beat by one on the road who had the exact same record we do.
