MNF: Jets vs Patriots

That's because Jerry falls in love with big-name players and Pro Bowls vs. the under-the-radar, blue collar type guys that the Patriots succeed with.

Never thought of Pats players as blue collar

Of course I'm not entirely sure what that is, blue collar.

Always hated that term, especially in regards to football

What makes me laugh really is ESPN. They were hyping up this game since thanksgiving, maybe before. "The biggest MNF game ever"...
And now it looks even worse than last week's game :lmao2:..most viewers went to bed by HT :lmao:

Blue collar means a tough, not afraid to do the dirty work or get your hand dirty, type of player. No prima donnas.

I know sad isnt it....patriots runs a good organization...dang it Jerry take notes..

know when to hold and know when to fold...stop holding on to players so long. Greenellis reminds me of Barber 2 years ago:banghead: and he was what undrafted while Barber is getting paid what to suck.:bang2: :bang2:
Jerry probably takes notes and goes and does the opposite.:D

Seriously though 2 guys make that whole thing work, Belichick and Brady and there's only one of each of them. Gotta give Kraft credit as a owner for knowing his place and letting the coaches and players do their thing. I'd trade Jerry for Kraft anyday, and twice on Sunday's.

Like the Utah Jazz right?
You mean Utah Jazz are blue collar or are you saying they are prima donnas.
I don't follow the NBA so I don't know.

Fox Sports has Vollmer at 315 lbs (the heaviest starter) and Koppen at 296 lbs.

NE seems to like smaller lineman.

Was Barber ever trade-able though? He broke out then quickly got that huge deal.

Parcells wanted him badly in Miami after he left.

They can move their feet with speed rushers, but they're still strong. Basically defensive tackles playing offensive line.

It's what we need to be successful. Guys that can block in space, move quickly, but are strong enough to handle a bull-rusher like Jared Allen.

Patriots/Steelers AFC championship game....which should be the Super Bowl.

Jets

Public perception of the Jets is way down right now..narrow victories vs Det and Cle didn't help their cause..

Jets are hands down the better team..Pats D is atrocious..

Wow... Glad you're aren't in my scouting department.

:muttley:

:lmao2: at Woodhead... 5'-9" indead. You could convince every single person who didn't know who he was that he was a 15yr old high schooler.

Im not trying to say I told you so but I've never been impressesd with these NY Jets, and I was sure they would lose tonight but not by so much . They were lucky to get in the playoffs last year and had even more luck when they beat SD in the playoffs (with Keadings missed FGs). The Jets will get a wild card this year and I doubt they advance. Although as a Cowboy fan I would kill for my team to get a wild card.

The jets problem is that they are sort of like all mercenaries; and the atmosphere there does not help. There is no doubt that NE was really hyped for this game: BB really wanted to smash Ryan. Does look like they will be the SB team from teh AFC this year.

I look at it like this: if someone else is going to win the SB in our house, I would rather it be BB then the Squeelers. Do not see anyone in the NFC that can beat the Pats as they are playing now. NO would have a shot but the Pats have more talent then the colts and a better coach.

Myself I like beuhler and think he will develop into a very good kicker for the Cowboys.
