As for this game, either the Giants offense is outstanding, or the Panthers defense is just awful this year. They got abused on that TD drive.

They've lost either two DE's or two DT's this offseason to injuries I think. Either way, the players they lost were very important to their run defense and it showed tonight.

Did Eli complete a pass longer than 8 yards on the screen? I might have missed it.

I don't think he did. They pretty much just ran the ball right at Carolina all the way down the field. Looks like the recipe to beat Carolina this season is plenty of Marion Barber with a healthy pinch of Felix Jones added, stir vigorously until beaten

I had to stop watching the game, the Panthers showed nothing with their first team out there. Tho for a few years, the Giants just seem to have their number.

Whenever I watch Eli play, I think "average". But "average" at QB is usually good enough when you have a dominant OL and run game.

They are a well disciplined team and they don't ask him to do too much. If he was the Cowboys QB, well he would've join the ranks of Hutch, Henson, Carter, Leaf, Testaverde, etc.
