They almost lost to St.Louis, Atlanta, Carolina, and Miami..

IE, any team that can run the ball worth a damn.

We should, at the very least, be able to play with them.

It is about the D preventing the big play and a balanced O keeping the ball away from Brees. It is more than just a solid running game.

Looked like Moss was supposed to run a post or something on that last Brady pick, instead he was dogging it and jogging down the sideline.

When you have the play-calling and execution that the Saints had last night, it doesnt matter.

There is not a team in the league that will come close to beating NO if they play like they did tonight.

He would have never been HC here, Jerry likes his coaches like the republicans like their presidential nominees, old and white and Payton only half qualified for the job. Probably the same reason Garret wasn't made HC initially either.

Who would've believed the Cowboys would boast a better record than the Patriots this far into the season?

Pats aren't all that...

The Bills GAVE them the first game of the season on that late fumble... they should be 6-5...

I still won.. by six pts. If the Pats offense had done anything, I would've been SOL.

When Payton was here, just about everybody wanted Payton gone.
When Zimmer was here, just about everybody wanted Zimmer gone.
and now with Garrett here, just about everybody wants Garrett gone.
I will go on record as saying I wanted all of them to stay, including Garrett.
OK flame away........:draw:

I see this Saints team going either the way of the 98 Vikings and 07 Patriots or 99 Rams. This is the only teams in the last decade or so you can compare them to. They will have a close game or two and have some games where there offense is not in sync. they will either be able to overcome it like the 99 Rams did or show that they can't handle a close tight game where things aren't going there way. We'll see.

This game also reminded me of our game against GB in 07 on that Thursday after Thanksgiving. Where we were hitting on all cyclinders, a statement game. We never played like that after that game. Again we'll see how the Saints handle this kind of success.

That is what alot of people on this board were saying about Payton and Zimmer when they were here. I think Garrett is still learning and will get better with time.
