MNF Thread

Sucks watching this after seeing our 90s based offense under JG the last couple years.

That's an interesting point. It seems that our offense is not innovative then we are more traditional in the of sense of "ideology" I guess you could say

I remember last year there was a big discussion on this forum about why we didn't run more no huddle offense. That discussion has seemingly died off but I think it's something that we should be doing

it died off b/c there were reports during TC that they were going to implement more of it this year! did you see any of it yesterday? i didn't. i think part of the issue is romo rarely calls a play without a million hand signals and at least one audible and at least three full scans of the field.

I think Shanahan will pull The Knee at half. He can't play football right now. Maybe never

Wow, Chip Kelly, lol, i love it. Philly could be a team you have to deal with...of course if Vick can stay healthy. Skins look out of asleep.

This has nothing to do with RG3 being injured and everything to do with the Eagles smacking them down. Rg3 INT was a horrible read on his part. The Skins defense has no idea what is going on, and now, McCoy is starting to run all over them.

It's only been a half but Philly looks really good so far. Hopefully our coaches will be able to put together a good game plan by the time we have to play them

Oh yeah, and give Vick credit. He's making all the right reads and most of the sacks were the OL not taking account for players like Kerrigan. Oh yeah, and DeSean is abusing Hall.

Screw the Giants and Commanders, I think I'm more concerned about this Eagle team. Boy do they look good, definitely going to be a tough one when we face them.

The Eagles look hard to stop in game 1, it is all new to the NFL, but I predict that after some of this stuff gets on tape, pro teams are going to knock the crud out of Vick.

Having tape and being prepared is one thing. You still need to have the athletes and overall endurance to withstand this type of pressure.

They look scary but IMO it won't last, Vick will get injured sooner or later, he will take too many hits in this style of offense.

I don't know if this has been said already and quite frankly, couldn't care any less because it's still worth repeating. I just want to see each team beat the crap out of each other until they're both merely a shadow of themselves when it's our turn to play against them.

Garrett is still infatuated with those 90's teams. Our offense is predictable and pedestrian. Most routes are sit downs or comebacks which don't allow the receiver a chance for extra yards after the catch. Aikman preferred those routes because they are harder to defend and he had the OL, running game, and accuracy to sustain drives. Todays team has none of those things. In fact, it's mistake and penalty prone which makes sustains drives difficult. Every time they get the ball you can tell when the drive is about to end. It's almost always the same. Penalty followed by a 1 yard run followed by a 5 yard pass on 3rd and 11.

Washington did me dirty on my parlay. I'm sorry but Philly's defence is not all that. It's more of Washington having issues with pass protection and not being able to pick up the blitz.

For the time-being, LOL at the the Redsk*ns. Lolololol. Now, we'll see what happens between now and week 7.
