MNF Thread

Why are people surprised with Sanchez? He never had any weapons in NY. Their system on offense was a joke. Especially towards the end of his time there. He did very well in college. Chip played him every year. He's not that bad.

Foles did everything with smoke and mirrors. There will be no drop off. In fact, Sanchez may be more effective. He's finally playing in a system that suits him well and has weapons.

Foles is not that great.

Sanchez doesn't look good either. Besides that one good drive, he's been terrible. He's certainly not the reason they're winning right now.

Philadelphia is a GOOD team guys. Our games against them are going to be knock down drag out affairs. Much like a basketball game, the winner of these 2 games will be the team that can impose its style of play and limit turnovers.

Dallas MUST run the ball, control the time of possession and do well on 3rd down defense. Its a recipe Dallas has used throughout the year and it can beat Philly. Meanwhile, if Philly is allowed to get into rhythm and Dallas gives them turnovers or the field position, then Dallas could quickly be back on it heels. I think these two teams split home and home.

The system is user friendly in Philly. Has been that way since Reid IMO. As with other backup QBs, give teams enough time to scheme for Sanchez and this will fall apart. I've seen nothing to make me think otherwise. That's my opinion. And also shows just how BAD Weeden is. Oh well.

Things couldn't have been set up better for Sanchez, with the turnovers and punt return allowing him to play from ahead with no pressure. Of course, to his credit, Weeden was put in a good situation as well, being up 10-0 in the blink of an eye without lifting a finger... and he spit the bit.

Arrogant? It's not even halfway through the second quarter and you think they should be putting on the brakes?

Why not call it a momentum killer? they didn't make it….it's a fine line between being aggressive and being stupid ..there was no need for it.. look at their defense stopping Carolina almost at well…

Wow, Cam Newton is terrible.

Also, Mark Sanchez has a career passing rating less than Brandon Weeden's. He will inevitably crap the bed, if not against one of the worst teams in the NFL, but when they actually play a team that may win more than 5 games.

Teams should always always always go for it on 4th and 2 from around the opponents' 40-yard line. Should never even be a question (except for certain late-game scenarios).

You fail to see my point. Foles was not the reason for their success last year, either. He's not that great.

My point is Sanchez will be just as effective as Foles is with this system. There will be no drop off.

Are we sure we like parity? 12-4 and bounced from the playoffs to this garbage? Give me some consistency (just not 8-8, again)
