What's sad is I don't know if our coaching staff even has the capability to design a gameplan that isn't the one you saw last night. Someone brought up a great point that Garrett was a backup qb in his career, so he's essentially brought the backup-qb offense to Dallas, which is pretty much playing it safe and protecting the ball and attempting to let your defense win the game. It's either that, or let Romo wild out.

We've had Weeden, Cassell and Prescott all play the 'give what the defense gives you' gameplan, aka play it safe, and bottom line is, it doesn't work, especially when you don't have an elite defense to compensate for the lack of points.

Seems like if we want to win, Prescott has to shake off the shackles and will have to improve and essentially create his own offense, which is what Romo has had to do for most of his career. We clearly don't have a winning offensive system in place here and you're not going to win in the NFL for long trying to out-talent the opposition. They need to completely dump that Garrett playbook and design something that will allow Prescott to throw down the field.

I think you underestimate the coach's influence here. Parcells Basically turned a dumpster fire into a playoff team w Carter and built the team that went 13-3 in 2007. 3 years later it was all gone.

Wade and Garrett arent HC material. Both are just happy to be in the position. Wade at least has skins on the wall and took Ware and extacted more value out of him than anyone here thought
