Mo is out

On record for at least the last two weeks saying we should shut him down. We gain nothing with him in there so I would rather have him as healthy as possible entering the entire offseason. He needs it.

Not to my knowledge but looking at his highlight plays in LSU he looks more fluid when he has eyes on both receiver and QB. He has good catch up speed as well. I can see picks like the ones vs Manning with him playing safety.

Could work. Rolle (NY) and Jenkins (NO) were both highly drafted CB's out of college, that have had fine careers as FS's.

IMO he pans out as a FS. He'll benefit from being able to read the QB from that spot vs turning his head away and being beaten oftentimes with those sideline routes. He has the range to play the ball deep in the air.

I'm an LSU fan and as such was high on the pick (I admit it) and am terribly disappointed. He in no way can play safety, he's an 'OK' tackler for a corner he'd be horrid for a safety and he'd be injured more.

another great pick by jerry jones anther is a long line of busts no wonder this team is so bad

is it dallas air or is it there offseason training? why do we have sooooo many injuries on the defensive side of the ball? And then look at miles smh.

of course. Next year if Mo doesn't step up and play to his draft pick.. what a bust.

Those guys are far more physical than Claiborne too. I do think he could play FS but he'd have to add atleast 12 lbs to his frame and I don't think he becomes a physical football player overnight

Yeah, I agree with your assessment, and I wonder about that too, but just how physical do you need to be to be a good free safety? Ed Reed to me is perhaps the best I've seen, and I may be wrong, but I don't remember him exactly being all that physical. Don't remember Darren Sharper being the most physical guy either.

Moore has another shot at stealing the spotlight in the secondary. Hopefully Mo is back wk 17.

Too bad Dallas didn't just keep Moore all season and have him out there instead of B.W. Webb, who is simply in over his head right now, which is understandable for a small-school rookie.

Our defense is made of styrofoam. how can so many guys be hurt on defense all the time?

Sharper is a fair comparison, although he wasn't the most physically imposing figure he was a sure tackler. Something Claiborne is not. Would be interesting to possibly pair him with Wilcox in the backfield. If anything Claiborne can play the ball

I am fine with Moore getting more time. I am now worried about the CB talent, they just need to turn around and hold onto interceptions.

If Carr and Scandrick can start looking back and holding onto the dang ball we will be in solid shape.

Plus Moore is a stud. I hope we develop him for depth so we don't have to worry about a CB in the draft.

I dont understand why we struggle so much at corner, could any of our corners jump on a slant the same way Sam Shields of the packers did on Tonys 1st int? I expected Carr to but he has regressed with the defense.
